Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I want to apply for a job opening to write the instructions for a local software package. I have the right experience but I don’t know how to format my resume for this type of job. There are a billion templates online and nothing to help me sort through them. How can I find the best type of template for this kind of application?
PS I know that individual employers have their own tastes and that I’m really subjected to that and it sucks and that’s okay. I just want to know if there’s an industry standard for this niche area. Thanks.
