When asking why you are still single, I would say that it’s best to look at the obstacles you are facing. Some people just can’t find someone because they are looking too hard. Others are looking with the right amount of effort, just the wrong place/venue. Others might have unrealistic expectations, that are put into place with good intentions, but have the flaw of being too high or narrow.
So, what kind of obstacles have you met in romance? Has it been that nobody sees you that way? Is it that the people who you are attracted to shun or ignore you? Are you forever in the “friend zone”? Do you hate the way you look? Maybe you just don’t fit in at the venue you have been looking. Maybe you need to find a place that is more in-line with your interests.
And that’s the best advice I can give.
I would say that the best way to increase your ability to find companionship is to find your niche. Throw yourself into the things you love. Get good at them. Master them. Join clubs focused on them. Get out, do fun things. Just meet people.
Don’t rely on the internet to find someone. I have a profile on a dating site, and yes I get dates from it. But it’s really more of an art than a science, and it took a LOT of trial and error. Getting out among people, and just being yourself is the best way.
It does not matter what body type you are. I have seen women of every body type in happy relationships. My ex was 420lbs, and would get asked out constantly by guys. In contrast, I know a girl who is cute, petite, fit and she can’t seem to get into a relationship. Nobody wants her. So don’t blame your looks, your weight, or your height. For every type of girl, there are guys who are into you.
As far as those activities I mentioned above go, they give you a time and a place to meet others who share your interests. Do it because you are into those things, and not because you want to “meet someone”. Another enthusiast just might take a liking to you.
In the end, it’s how well you’ve filled out, both emotionally and intellectually, that will attract the right people. If you were looking for a quick bang, you could probably put an ad on craigslist, and have a hundred offers by sunset. But you obviously aren’t after that, or you wouldn’t have posted this question.
Be yourself. Be the best, most awesome, dorky, awkward, artistic, nerdy, whatever, version of yourself. When you are solid in that foundation, you will have boys lining up to date you.
And that’s the best advice I can give.

1. During George Washington’s administration, factions developed that eventually became the Federalist and Democratic-Republican political parties.
2. U. S. elections are generally “winner-take-all” elections. Therefore, the two-party nature of political party competition is reinforced.

So I am a US Citizen living in the United States. I make a comfortable $80,000 a year through my extensive designs on Cafepress and Zazzle, so have no need for a job. And I can continue to do this in any country.
So I absolutely love Ireland, and visit at least 2-3 times a year for at least two weeks at a time. I would love very much to live there. Nothing would make me happier than to live on the Emerald Isle.
But, as you can see, I’m not qualified for any residency program. I don’t have a highly sought after niche job skill, I’m not old enough to qualify for a retirement visa, so there is but one way for me to make this happen: You guessed it, marrying an Irish citizen
What I DO have is quite a comfortable annual income. Suppose I started offering young Irish women who are in need of money $10,000 to marry me for 4 years.
See, I think what happened was I met this wonderful girl on one of my visits to Ireland, and after several visits and a long-distance relationship, we decided to tie the knot. That’s my official story.
In Ireland, a person can get residency by marrying an Irish citizen. Then, after 3 years, the non-citizen spouse can apply for permanent residency for themselves, and have residency no longer dependent on the preservation of the marriage, and is at that point a pretty turnkey process.
So I immediately get to move to Ireland due to my marriage, I easily get my own stand-alone permanent residency status after 3 years living there with my “wife,” then wait another year so it won’t “look” like it was a green card marriage, then we divorce due to “Irreconcilable differences” after 4 years. We will have signed an airtight prenup so the divorce is quick and cheap.
I am now a permanent resident of Ireland, and 5-7 years later I can become a citizen.
What’s in it for the girl? $5000 to come with me to the justice of the peace and marry me, not see me for another 4 years, then show up at the divorce proceedings, get her second $5000 payment, and never see me again.
I might get a lot of “No’s” but with the global economy being what it is, and no shortage of poor people even in the most developed countries, how long would it REALLY take me to find a girl willing to do this? I don’t even have to be in Ireland to find my green-card bride, I could communicate with Irish women via the internet from America and find one.
Could this work?

being bullied by someone who’s never done anything in “his” life but self promote and spend our tax money?
US president barack hussein obama (mmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm mmmmmmmmmmm) was on the line when Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu called Turkish Prime Minister Recep Tayyip Erdogan to apologize for the deaths of nine Turkish protesters aboard the Turkish ship Mavi Marmara on May 31, 2010.
For those who don’t remember, the Mavi Marmara was a Turkish ship that set sail in a bid to break Israel’s lawful maritime blockade of Hamas-controlled Gaza’s coastline. When Israeli naval commandos boarded the ship to interdict it, passengers on deck attacked them – in breach of international maritime law. Soldiers were stabbed, bludgeoned and thrown overboard. In a misguided attempt to show the good faith of Israeli actions, the naval commandos were sent aboard the ship armed with paintball guns. As a consequence, the soldiers were hard-pressed to defend themselves. In the hand-to-hand combat that ensued, nine of the Turkish attackers were killed.
The Mavi Marmara was an eminently predictable fight. The Turkish group that hired the boat was an al-Qaeda-affiliated Turkish NGO named IHH. In 1999, the Turkish government was so wary of IHH that it barred the group from participating in relief efforts following a devastating earthquake.
IHH’s fortunes shifted with the rise of its fellow Islamists in the AKP Justice and Development Party led by Recep Tayip Erdogan. The AKP won the 2002 elections and has since been reelected twice.
