It’s not really possible to say how many visitors you’d need. There are many things too consider like how targeted is the traffic, how are you monetizing the site, conversion rate (are your visitors browser, freebie seekers, or buyers).
It can be a profitable niche, but it is very competitive. If it is something you are passionate about and will enjoy blogging about go for it. If you are just creating a blog to earn money look for a niche with less competition. Online Profits has a great, free internet marketing course that has a module on finding a niche. There’s a link on my profile.
Hi Amber T,
It does not matter if you have lots of visitors going to your website if the conversion is not good. The best way is to track every visitor that comes to your website. In this way, you know what the visitors are interested in. Next, you would only want targetted customers, which simply means that these are the people you are interested in.
I’m not sure if you are an affiliate marketer or a product marketer, either way, it would be good to have a squeeze page or landing page to capture your visitor(s) information so that you can earn more income in the long run. As a guide, you can generate $1 for every customer that has opt-in to your squeeze page or landing page.
Hope it helps…
