I love to write and I love to create new content on blogs. Blogging is becoming a big part of the internet and it’s time that I jump in there and get in on this. I love gaming, and I plan on basing my niche on that I know it takes a while for a blog to finally start earning at least a little bit of revenue, but that’s something that I don’t mind. My mom, however, sees differently. She thinks that you have to work in a store to get money, and that’s it. Nothing I tell her works, and with me being fresh out of high school, I’m not sure what to do. My plan is to start this now, just in case something fails, I won’t lose anything. However, I don’t plan on that happening. How can I convince my mother that me sitting at the computer for hours on end is actually a good idea, and not hurting me? It’s kind of hard to concentrate when your mom is shoving job applications down your throat. And I would have moved out a long time ago, but I’m broke. =/
Please, serious answers only. No bull.

I personally feel that it does, and I seek to attain a better insight. My reason for believing it does is that the newspapers all write in a bias, rather than objective way, about news and events. I don’t know if its done in such a way to appeal to their target market (their customers), or whether the papers are written in such a way to achieve a higher purpose, or both. In the UK, our new “coalition government” is still in its teething stages but it seems like the newspapers are reflective of what this new government stands for. All of a sudden, there is this “uproar” about the numbers on welfare / benefits. I’ve read a few newspapers today and they all attack people in benefits at some point, and some of them make it their main story. I believe this is to soften the blow when our so-called coalition government phases out the benefits system. After all, there has never been such focus placed on the numbers on benefits in previous years. It would seem like the media can be used as a political tool for social reform. I’ll tell you a secret, I live in Northern Ireland. And ever since the leaders of the two contesting groups agreed to try to reach some sort of an agreement, the news stations and papers have flamed any action taken by either side, and crime has dropped substantially. Such action was widely accepted as part of our heritage, culture and lives, even though the majority detested it; and this has changed thanks in part by the media. The wasting young men in our society used to commit crimes because it was the “cool to be bad”, but now that we’ve had a major paradigm shift such crimes aren’t as common as no one wants to be hated by the masses. And as for the papers, why do they broadly state that all claimants are “Workshy” and never express that there are individuals out there who need such a system to survive?

I’m 14, and i get excruciating cramps from my period. I’ve been thinking about trying to go on birth control just so i can skip it. I don’t plan on being sexually active any time soon, and i don’t even have a boyfriend, so using the pill for actual birth control isn’t at all what i want to do. Should I go on the Seasonique pill, which gives you only three periods a month, just so i don’t have to deal with cramps? And also, I know that, like nearly every other medication out there, the pill does have some risks and side effects, but I want to know what they specifically are for Seasonique, and how commonly they occur. I’ve talked to my mom about it, and shes a nurse, but id like some other opinions as well. Also, the hospital my mom works at is affiliated with the catholic church, and they provide my family with our insurance, but they don’t cover birth control because it’s against their beliefs, or whatever, so my family would have to pay ourselves. How much is it without insurance, and do you think its worth it to save me from my torturous cramps? And also, I know i should probably talk to a doctor about this, but I’ve never been to a gynecologist, and i don’t really want to start until I absolutely have to, so is there another way to get a doctors opinion without getting the whole scary examination?

My high school is in a first-rung suburb of Minneapolis, and is very poor. Budget cuts every year. The fact we’re surrounded by much richer schools doesn’t help our rep. But me and a few friends love the game of rugby, but the high school can’t sanction it for obvious reasons. Hell they might even drop a sport or two! My friend said that we can start a U-19 team that doesnt have to be affiliated with our school, but affiliated with the MN rugby…thingy.
Do any of you have tips on how we should go about publicizing the club concept, getting players, coaches etc? Thank you!
