there’s the song i’m looking at. on the side it says voice range: D4-D7, what notes are those?

On the piano, the note in the middle of the piano is C4 (I believe). Vocal range is the notes you need to be able to hit to sing that song correctly. I.E. You need to be able to sing the note D on the 4th octave to the note D on the 7th octave. You need a 3 Octave range to sing this song.
