Screen-writing Experiment: I Want To Make Money Off The “tween” Market…?

Alright, so Zac Efron is a 5000 year old mummy who comes back to life (also he’s blue, not avatar blue but more of a silvery blue) to find his true love, (I’ll make up some back-story about a curse and make him like the guy who was the male escort of Queen Hatshepsut) but Queen Hatshepsut hasn’t come back to life so he has to do battle with an evil secret society then fall in love with some girl who is really pretty but she’s wearing glasses in her first scene so everyone will assume she’s a bookish nerd with no self-esteem.
Box Office Gold.

Louisiana Citizens Attack The State’s Proposed Biology Textbooks. Why Do Atheists Care What Others Believe?

A group of Louisiana citizens, believed to be backed by the conservative Christian Louisiana Family Forum, are attacking the state’s proposed biology textbooks because, well, they teach too much evolution.
The Baton Rouge Advocate reported this week that a state panel is scheduled to review the issue Friday after the state’s school board held off adopting the biology I and biology II textbooks due to the complaints.
Winston White, one of the residents who complained about the books, said, “It’s like Charles Darwin and his theory is a saint. You can’t touch it.”
It’s worth noting that White is the son of Darrell White, who was one of the Louisiana Family Forum founders. This move is all part of an ongoing broader strategy, one that the LFF, which is affiliated with Focus on the Family, has been behind since the beginning.
Darrell White also told the Advocate that the textbooks don’t comply with the anti-evolution law known as the “Louisiana Science Education Act,” which the Family Forum helped write and successfully lobbied for in 2008. The LSEA instructs educators to promote “critical thinking skills, logical analysis, and open and objective discussion of scientific theories being studied including, but not limited to, evolution, the origins of life, global warming, and human cloning.” It also allows teachers and school districts to use “supplemental textbooks,” which are just code words for creationist and pro-intelligent design materials.
Barbara Forrest, a philosophy professor at Southeastern Louisiana University, co-founder of Louisiana Citizens for Science and one of the creationist movement’s most damning critics, said she believes the complaints are merely a tactic to get disclaimers (Warning: These books teach evolution!) added to the textbooks, or pave the way for the inclusion of creationist supplemental materials.
Other people who lodged complaints said they did so because the books didn’t teach intelligent design.
In written comments to state officials, David Mathers, of West Monroe, said he would “like to see intelligent design explained as an alternate theory to the theory of evolution.”
Curt Eberts, of Monroe, made the same point. He faulted a biology textbook he reviewed for lacking material on the concept of intelligent design.

Ohmygod! Where Were All The Reichtwinger Raving Posts About “travel/spending” When Bush Went To Australia?

Bush has a back-up or two for his jumbo

Ever feel guilty about over-packing on your travels? George Bush will make you feel better.
The United States President, who arrived in Sydney last night, brought not one Jumbo jet, but three, as well as another two aircraft that carry aircraft. The President’s Jumbo has a back-up, and the back-up has a back-up.
Air Force One can jam enemy radar, and radar-guided missiles, and is equipped with flares to avoid heat-seeking missiles.
The Jumbos are carrying 700 of the President’s closest friends, including a doctor, nurse, personal chef and four cooks.
They are also carrying advisers, and it is clear the President will not be short of advice.
His entourage includes 50 White House political aides, 150 national security advisers and 200 specialists from other government departments.
POTUS, as he is known in Secret Service jargon (President Of The United States), is getting by with a mere 250 protective agents.
That doubtless would have been more if the First Lady was here too, but Laura Bush is back at home nursing a pinched nerve in her neck, a casualty of a hiking trip four months ago.
The President’s Jumbos look small alongside his gargantuan C17 Globemaster III air transports.
They carry the presidential chopper Marine One and a Black Hawk surveillance helicopter.
They are also bearing a fleet of cars that would do credit to a decent-sized business.
It is an understatement to say the President’s limo, Cadillac One, is bullet-proof. Its 12cm ballistic armour makes it anti-tank-grenade-proof.
It is sealed against chemical and biological attacks, too, which means it should just about block out the stench from Sydney’s Pyrmont fish markets.
The President’s men are believed to be bringing their own sniffer dogs.
They are bringing their own guns and bullets, too, believed to be the only delegation to get special dispensation.
That should shave a few dollars off Apec’s A$169 million security budget.

WordPress Programming Help!?

Hello, I am about to create my first website and I need some programming help. Though I can not say the name of the website, it is an affiliate gadget review website. The name is kinda like twitter. When you want to send a message to someone you send a tweet. On my website, I want is so that when someone writes a review on my website it would say, Vellinthy —-(named of website)— “It’s a great product”
Over all I need someone to point me in the right direction so when someone sends in a review on a product, instead of saying review it says a different work. Possibly a plugin will allow me to do this?
Thank you very much!
