u should give it a try
Nope. DJ’s are the most talentless people in music. You take **** music, make it shitter, and then make it never stop so people don’t get a rest from the **** music.
My niece’s jack in the box skills are more musically impressive.
Anyone can DJ, takes about 5 minutes to learn what to do.
All the same, some places need a dj…. well not need… cheaper and possible better to just pre-program a nights music into a computer with the effects… Hmm…
Nah, get a real job and career.
Its very hard to make it as a DJ and to make a career out of it. A lot of it is now digital and hardly any vinyl around. To play live you would need to find a venue that caters for your music or change your music to match the style of a venue that would give you a try out. One thing to bear in mind though is that often DJs have to play what pleases a crowd and not themselves so you might be playing more cheryl cole that hard dance.
Music production is pretty interesting and would open up opportunities for you in other areas tv radio the music industry etc rather than just mixing tracks all the time. It can be hard to get work out of it however but if you have a really big interest in it them you could at least try a short course in it if there are any local to you.
go niche, go hardcore techno, go DJ
