There’s like this whole Protest that went on I believe in Trois-Rivieres, Quebec about why the Government of Canada is taking action against Narconon for having non-credited doctors and what not….. and that they are affiliated with Scientology?
And that they are teaching drug methods that are based on the Church of Scientology as being fact-based to kids about rehabilitation?
But they have a lot of support in Trois-Riveres, Quebec. What do Canadians think about it all?
Watch this protest
Now the birth of Jesus Christ took place in this way. When his mother Mary had been betrothed to Joseph, before they came together she was found to be with child of the Holy Spirit; and her husband Joseph, being a just man and unwilling to put her to shame, resolved to divorce her quietly. But as he considered this, behold, an angel of the Lord appeared to him in a dream, saying, “Joseph, son of David, do not fear to take Mary your wife, for that which is conceived in her is of the Holy Spirit; she will bear a son, and you shall call his name Jesus, for he will save his people from their sins.” All this took place to fulfil what the Lord had spoken by the prophet:
“Behold, a virgin shall conceive and bear a son, and his name shall be called Emmanuel” (which means, God with us). When Joseph woke from sleep, he did as the angel of the Lord commanded him; he took his wife, but knew her not until she had borne a son; and he called his name Jesus.
There’s your answer – “non-credited doctors”. Combine that with the fact they are affiliated with Scientology, a group that has dodgy health care notions. Tax payer money can be spent on other places with doctors that are legit and not on methods that are not proven. I wouldn’t trust anything to do with Scientology and their methods are not proven. It’s more a recruitment centre not a rehab.
I have personal experience with Narconon in Canada and would have to say that you will find the real answer lies in who is currently benefiting from this govt funding of Canadian Health.
There are many funded programs that don’t get results. Govt funding for drug rehab is not a result based activity. Obviously this program is a threat to some who have a vested interest in perpetuating the revolving door situation of drug addiction and abuse. It’s big business. They don’t want it solved.
Narconon is a very effective and workable program .It rehabilitates hard core addicts gives them a new life. Educates children and teens on the Truth about Drugs so they don’t start. It is a workable solution.
I agree it makes no sense unless you look at the deeper agenda of those who are attacking a workable solution.
Narconon has always been open about the fact that it uses the drug rehab technology of L Ron Hubbard. It’s right on the home page of their web-site and on the brochures.
I don’t know where this idea comes in about non-credited doctors. A person doing the program needs to be cleared by a licensed physician and the program is done on that basis. Do Canadians have to have prescriptions to do sauna or take vitamins? Or use self-help techniques that have worked for over 40 years? Why now, after it’s always been known to use L Ron Hubbard’s technology is it now suddenly being construed as somehow wrong? ThetaAlways tells you exactly why. Ask yourself who is vested in seeing this program thought to be “bad” or “controversial” ?
There seems to be rumors that Scientology doesn’t use doctors or medicine. That’s bollocks. Someone is giving the Canadian government false data on purpose.
