    After Jesus’ end on this earth, the believers were not allowed to have meetings and gather together. When one or more met they would draw the sign of a fish meaning “are you a Christian, are you one of us?” They could then talk openly to each other.
    There is no use for it today as we are no longer persecuted by the law.
