Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I have a great deal of knowledge on holistic healing, and know of some of the topic supplement companies in the industry who have a lot of integrity and provide excellent health benefits and improvements. I want to affiliate myself with several of them, and direct traffic toward my propsed site to begin gnerating income to live with.
The friend who offered to make the site is an IT computer programmer. He deals with top clients in New York and seems to really know what he is doing on the Net. He has a degree in it.
He has asked me to write 50 pages of material educating people on health. I love to communicate, so it will be fun to do and get all my thoughts out there to help people better manage all their illnesses. After I do this, we will look at adding various companies to the stie to direct people to high quality products.
He knows how to deal with the legal end of things, like disclaimers etc….if anyone tries to sue us for anything. He is going to send me a contract for us to work together.
WHat I was wondering about is a scenario where once he has everything up and running, if Im doing all the work after that, trying to direct people to the site, offering them technical support by answering their questions etc…..is it fair that he gets 50 % of all the income that comes in ?
I have never signed a contract like this. I don’t want to be greedy or ungreatful, yet I dont want to be taken advantage of either. Is it normal that once someone sets up a site for someone, and the other person is doing all the work to deal with the clients, that the computer guy who set it up gets 50 % of all the profits ?
Any suggestions in what things I should look for or what things I should ask for in such an agreement, and if 50 % is a good deal since i dont know anything about how to manage a site ?

i worked for a unlicensed Christian daycare in which i have documentation and recordings of them not doing what they are supposed to. I’m thinking of getting into an niche affiliate product however the product Im thinking of using has two big competiors at the top of google. What would be the best way to try and compete with these sites for that keyword?

The supply of college degrees exceeds demand. Student loan debt is at an all time high. Students graduate 100k in debt with interest accruing – in most cases – for a degree that pays 30-40k per year if they can even get that. The cost of living is so high today these loans stay with them for life.
Nothing is taught in colleges about one of the most important things in life – making money. When the subject of entrepreneurship is taught, in most cases, it’s taught by college professor who has never started or run a business in the real world.
Trade school jobs and niche jobs are now almost totally overlooked. Why? These are the jobs with the highest demand. A helicopter pilot pays 80k per year – so why not go to helicopter pilot school? A deep sea diver pays 60k per year. Why not do that? What about a Yacht mechanic? That’s about 70k per year. Manufacturing plant inspector? The list goes on an on. These are all occupations you don’t need to shackle yourself to a lifetime of debt for.
Why follow the crowd? I don’t get it. Parents continue to parrot this outdated advise without a clue the world around them as drastically changed. Oh yes Mom and Dad. Tell your son or daughter to waste 4 years in college racking up 100k in debt to compete with 500 applicants with business degrees for a 40k per year job working for someone else – under their control – 50 hours per week and 4 months for free to pay taxes to the government?
And parents think this is security? I don’t get it.
