Hi guys. I’m really interested in this crowded niche but what I don’t get is how reviewers (especially youtube) allow game footage. Is it ok to show game footage for reviewing purposes?
Also, how do websites like roosterteeth.com or screwattack.com work? Do they go ” oh, hello EA games, didn’t see you there. we have this gaming review website so send us free stuff and we’ll review it on our website.” How do they get so big they can afford to hire people? How do they make money? Whenever i see videos from they’re HQ’s they’re chockfull of consoles, powerful PC’s, walls decorated with MILLIONS of games (lol). So yea, all that costs lots of money.
I need a reaaaally informed person on the matter. Thank you very much. Hope i asked all the basics
You can post game videos and trailers on your site that are released by the owner as long as you arent trying to sell the videos. Any time you brrow content from other sites you just need to make sure you cite references. As far as making money, you develop unique content and articles for your site to generate traffic and once you get a lot of traffic you can sell ad space on your website. The amount of money you will get from selling ads will be determined by how much traffic the page gets. The more you can put a companies ad in front of prospective customers the more you are likely to get paid for that ad slot. There are other ways to make profit as well but this is the main way a website generates revenue without selling a product.
I have been looking for a way to make money and I looked at gifting programs and work at home programs. I’m not sure if gifting is legal and the work at home programs seemed a bit scammy to me. I found a program that cost very little to begin and I got all of my money back within the first 24 hours. Now my sister is also doing the program since she was unemployed.
This is so much better than just working 9-5 and having a hard time to pay the bills.
