In recent years the USA has been very vociferous and active in its ‘War on Terror’ yet in the early seventies terrorism would have died out in Northern Ireland had it not been for an influx of AR-14 Armalite rifles and significant quantities of C4 explosive. Neither items were available on the open market at the time. It is an open secret that there was tacit support for the PIRA in many quarters of American politics.
So on behalf of all the victims of Irish terrorism and those of us who fought against them, I ask you to consider the karma of your nation being a primary target of terrorism.

Because there was no violence in N. Ireland before the AR-14 and C-4?
The motivation for terrorism remains, the only thing that changes is the means.
Trying to blame the violence there on the availability of weapons, as some sort of entrapment or solicitation, is just a rationalized form of denial on your part.
Supporting terror in Ireland is about #137 on the list of items that could be part of my country’s bad Karma. If we could get to JUST doing that, I’d be happy.
Torture, assassination, supporting tyrants, paying contractors who kill civilians. Your C4 secret is a batch of small potatoes in our countries garden of bad Karma.
