hey im interested in getting my horse affiliated but i just wondered what classes there were? also what sizes are those classes?
i live in southyorkshire england i that helps!!!!!
also pls could you tell me how much it costs and how do i register? who do i register with!!!
You register with British Show Jumping – formally the BSJA.
You do not say how old you are so that makes a difference to how much it costs.
Google BSJA and you can find your answers (with difficulty) on the site.
go on the BSJA website
if you or the horse haven’t been affiliated before you may get a good deal (they sometimes have them)
the smallest class starts at British novice which is 90cm with a jump off of 1m
the classes go up from there (1m,1.10,1.20)
up to about 1.30m at local events, obviously at bigger competitions they go a lot higher!
competing is also a lot of money, classes (depending on height, type of class) range from £15ish to £50 odd)
registering isn’t worth it unless you have transport to go to all the shows to get your money’s worth!
im on a big yard in north Yorkshire, luckily we have one a week on a Wednesday and one a month on a weekend.
good luck and have fun!
