They had AAA ball for 27 years. With a good, downtown stadium that actually has real grass, then I believe that being able to have fan support to offset massive travel costs could work. What are your thoughts?

No, because at a time when we are trying to cut back on the use of fuel, this would be a backbreaker——-it would not make any sense!
Absolutely not. Hawaii (the entire state, not just Honolulu) has a mere 1.3 million people. Riverside, Portland, Sacramento, Montreal, San Antonio, Orlando, Las Vegas, San Jose, Columbus, Charlotte, Indianapolis, Austin, Norfolk, Providence, Nashville, Jacksonville and Memphis ALL have more people than Honolulu, and have the added benefit of NOT being very, very far from any other team.
And what evidence is there that the people of Hawaii would support a team? If they were such ardent baseball fans, maybe they’d still have a AAA team.
I doubt it, but it would be cool
Honestly no, but it would be nice. Though what I would like to see Hawaii have is to bring back the winter league. They could also consider having the all-star game out there. The proball has been a success out there. And with the popularity of the all-star game, I am sure it can be a success out there.
