More bad news for the White House as Rasmussen announced today that just 17 percent of likely US voters believe the country is heading in the right direction, the lowest level of public confidence since Barack Obama took office. According to Rasmussen, a staggering 75 percent of voters now believe the country is heading down the wrong track, including a clear majority (58 percent) of Democrats, and 77 percent of Independents:
Seventy-five percent (75%) of voters say the country is heading down the wrong track, the highest finding since early January 2009. Since that time, voter pessimism had ranged from 57% to 72%.
Most Republicans (91%) and voters not affiliated with either political party (77%) believe the country is heading down the wrong track. Even a strong majority (58%) of Democrats now say the country is heading in the wrong direction.
Forty percent (40%) of black voters say the country is heading in the right direction, a view shared by just 15% of white voters and just as many voters of other ethnicities (15%).
Roughly half (51%) of the Political Class are confident in the nation’s current course, while 84% of Mainstream voters are not.

The story is about a romance between a songwriter, and a lawyer. The lawyers character is cliche, he’s got a very bad temper and at times…he can be pretty stupid…You’l see what I mean. Anyway, my story takes place in South Korea, and I used some actual idols.Tell me what you think.
When two worlds extend into one, when two lives begin to live together, when two paths suddenly entangle themselves in each other with one swift move, it can change a person’s fate forever. Nobody predicts what may happen in the future because it’s too unpredictable; the expected never seems to occur at all or on time. A perfect and happy family may someday break a part for several reasons. A workaholic father, a drinking mother, hidden secrets revealed suddenly to the family, a love affair. Yet no one saw it coming.
A young business man may suddenly find himself without a job, begging on the streets and losing everything he once had. His company could have gone bankrupt, his parents might have suddenly cut their ties, a merger may pull his investment out at the last minute, but no one saw it coming. Indeed this is a very unpredictable life we life, our future is never something that any person should play with because you never know where it might go. You may find yourself winning the lottery just before retirement or adopting a child from an orphanage when you thought it was the last thing on your mind.
But our hopes and dreams for what we may encounter keeps us working hard, and diligently. Every person has something they want, something they need, something they treasure and something they seek. It’s rare for anyone to not have all four, but if we just left it single-handedly like that, then the story would be plain and boring with no twists or turns.
We all thought that we knew the world and its values
We thought everyone had the same ideas and morals.
We thought everyone knew the meaning of friendship and love
And we thought every person wanted to settle down
Ji Kyung eyed the small diamond ring in the black, velvet box on the corner store, not twenty minutes away from the building she was currently employed at. The gold embraced the round, clear jewel inside the window glimmering and shining just right as the sun shone directly on it. Her eyes just like the ring, sparkling at the beautiful piece of jewellery; the want for it was growing more and more as every second ticked by.
It was like a child’s longing for the hottest toy on the market, the new robot with new moves, the new Barbie doll that came with the ken doll, or even the new ultimately improved soccer ball. But for people like Ji Kyung, whose income was low and wants were never satisfied, her dream of one day owning such a fine accessory would never come true. Deep in her heart, she believed in things that were more valuable than just the physical objects you can feel and touch.
Her watch suddenly started to sing a beautiful lullaby as the tips of the hands clicked 1:00. The faint tune of her favourite song was a constant reminder to her on the schedule that she had to keep when the distractions set in and overcame her concentrations.
“Oops” She looked down at the ticking Mickey Mouse clock. “I’m going to be late if I just sit here”
The beauty of the ring caught her attention for another minute, the dreams returned to her mind. There she was, despite current circumstances, standing above the solid tides of Hawaii, sucking on sweet coconut juice. The scenery only took her breath away, the waves only rising high enough for natives to ride their boards towards the beach, the suns setting at just the right time letting out its oranges, purples and yellows. But on her single third finger sat a beautiful ring, a diamond ring. She looked upon it with great pride and gratitude, the one thing she owned that proved her unity with another man. The only perfect one she had ever lay eyes on.
The ring of the watch brought her back into reality from the beautiful dream. With one last long glance at the ring that sat in the middle of the display at the front window, Ji Kyung turned away from it and started towards the crowd waiting to use a crosswalk only a couple feet away from her.
It was the usual day for Ji Kyung. She wasn’t expecting much less than the ordinary everyday routine, tired long hours in the office hacking her brain for appropriate song lyrics, business meetings, touring visitors, managing files, overseeing other workers, etc.
-I can’t fit the entire thing on here…so if you want to read the rest of chapter/story so far before anwering below is the link. Please no commenting on the fact that I use this website.
