for a company yet, and is looking for an Entry-Level Position. Is it legal for her to make her own business card, saying that she is a paralegal without being affiliated with a law firm? Any sort of help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If she has gone to school and received her degree in paralegal studies, she is indeed a paralegal.
Yes. She can call herself anything she wants to, perhaps even a Supreme Court Judge, as long as she doesn’t directly benefit from the lie. If she does benefit from the lie more than likely it will be a civil matter rather than criminal.
In this case there is no lie involved.
having a business card does not mean she can work nor does it imply that she is working as a paralegal…..
she can not dispenses advise, or represent a client, or even make suggestions on how to complete a legal document but she is still a paralegal as long as she has met the states guidelines (either a degree or certificate whatever the state requires IF anything at all)…..
