I get between 30 and 60 pageviews a day on my blog. It’s a pretty modest affair that I write about once every 2 weeks more as a hobby than anything. Is this any good? I know there are blogs that get thousands every day but I’m not writing that often, ad I prefer to keep my content niche and as original as possible.
Writing a blog everyday does not guarantee more traffic. People prefer quality over quantity.
You can drive up traffic by posting your blog address to Twitter and Facebook.
That’s not bad at all, really, since it’s “a pretty modest affair.” (I get around a thousand, but then I put up five items a day.) And I suspect that we write better when we’re not obsessed with the size of our audiences.
The absolute best way to get your blog in traffic is to promote it (without spamming). Meet people online, perform guest postings, and talk about your blog where appropriate in forums. Getting 30 to 60 visitors a day is not half bad, especially for writing an article every two weeks. Like everyone is saying, content is key, not quantity. Make these decisions above and you could be getting possibly more than a 100 visitors per day.
