OK on one forum the admin is banning people permanently for saying he is a dick… while people on his forum are getting banned for a week for promoting dog fighting more than once…. this doesn’t seem right to me.
BTW I am in no way affiliated with dog fighting.

It is irrelevant if they are correct. Its their forum they can ban whoever for any reason
yea. it is irrelevant.
unless the banned member also does the same thing he did on the forum banned him, on the forum he is not banned yet. only then he is eligible to be banned.
but still. its their forum, and the admins have the right to ban anyone. even without reason. it is so rare to find democracy on forums.
Whether it is right or not, does not matter. The fact is that the administrator has the right to do ANYTHING he wants. It is his website, it is his rules. I see your example as a power hungry Administrator, but that makes forums sloppy. Having a power hungry staff makes a one sided forum. which eventually will crash.
