Is that the name of the program? If so, remove it! NOW!! Then scan your PC with these two programs:http://download.cnet.com/Malwarebytes-An…http://download.cnet.com/SuperAntiSpywar…
They are free.
I just found this too, give it a try.http://www.bleepingcomputer.com/forums/t…
Oh boy ! Seriously, I would completely wipe your PC (after backing up, of course) and reinstall Windows. Especially if it popped up after visiting a web site. If you haven’t re-installed Windows in a long while (around a year), this generally needs to be done anyway.
Now, a general comment. I do not trust any PC cleaners or speed boosters. Especially the ones advertised on TV. They spend a lot of money for those ads in prime time to offer a free PC cleaning solution, so I believe something’s up.
I use Nod 32 exclusively as my anti-virus, and I reinstall Windows once a year to get rid of garbage on my PC. If money is an issue, I would use Avast, or AVG as an anti-virus.
It’s software that does the cleanup of your hard drive that you should be performing yourself. When you keep track of your own programs and files, you don’t need software to handle those tasks, especially when it does the “cleaning” automatically. I’m not sure if it gets into cleaning your Windows Registry or not. But if it does, you could lose programs that PC Cleaner decides you haven’t used for awhile, and therefore don’t need taking up space on your hard drive. If you can uninstall it, that may be to your advantage. You can look at a “product” by searching before you allow it to be downloaded on your computer. It’s always best to check this stuff out before you download something that’s very difficult to get rid off. Here’s a link to PC Cleaner so you can see what you received. http://www.pccleaner.com/
Ok
1. don’t download anything if u have already like the previous people said use scan and fix it the bet is u downloaded a virus!.. i recommend superantispyware personally.
2. If you want software tht will clean up your junk files download something called CCleaner.
If you have money to buy one and a little more advanced at tweaking download & buy Auslogics BoostSpeed.
PC Cleaner is the number-one tool for cleaning your Windows PC. It protects your privacy online and makes your computer faster and more secure.
