I know French lingerie is famous for their overall quality but how does Victoria’s Secret lingerie stacks up against it? Is it seen as just mid-range mass market American stuff?
More specifically, I will be going to Paris next month to meet my LD bf and was wondering if it would be better for me to just buy/pack a bunch of bras there or run out to the nearest shop the day after I arrive to pick up some sexy underthings?

Yes, most of Europe think VS is cheap, mass produced garbage. Its part f the general anti-American culture attitude. That said, good french or italian lingerie is VERY expensive, especially at todays exchange rate. You can get very good, euro-quality stuff here for much less money – try Cosabella, Agent Provocateur, or Wolford.
well first of all I don’t think your guy will be like “ew these are Victoria Secret, no one wears that here” I think he will just appreciate you for the effort. Either way, aren’t the underthings going to be coming off anyway? Lol. I just think you should go with the Victoria Secrets , it’s something you have worn before and you know your sizing and everything. Why waste time going to a different country trying to pick out things you could have gotten at home.?
