I was wondering if any stores sell sheets of Colored Butcher Paper – NOT the rolls. For my college’s chemistry club, we are trying to get some, but they seem to only sell by the roll (which is around $50-$150). We don’t need that much, just a sheet of it.
My college has those papers, but because we weren’t affiliated with that particular program in our school – they wouldn’t let us get 9ft of butcher paper (even if we paid). And to get affiliated, we need to go to a workshop that is offered a few weeks later (which is past our planned function).
Help please?
At art supply stores that sell the rolls, be sure to ask if they sell it by the foot. Some do and some don’t, but if you dont specifically ask, they might not offer.
Also try some of your local butcher shops, meat markets and the meat counter at a supermarket. If they happen to use the color you need, they might be glad to offer you some.
Butcher paper comes in colors? First answer gives some response, but another is simply to work on the college bureaucracy – go up the chain of command as putting a restriction on a paper supply to another section of the same college seems over the top. Ask the president to intervene.
