Im a White American Convert to Islam and I converted back in 08 and
everytime someone fiinds out im a Muslim they dont take me seriously..
Its like because Im a White American Michigan Guy with a Michigan Accent
they seem to think I cant be a true Muslim.. Like im some kind of Posure..
Well maybe thats just me and my worries.. But they look at me like “yah
whatever whiteboy” and a few years ago I met some Black Muslims and
they didnt take me seriosuly I know it was because Black Muslims who are
affiliated with the Nation Of Islam are racist but its beside the point.. Is it
because im White?.. Islam is a Universal faith anyone og any age and of any
gender and of any race or color or nationality can be a Muslim.. Matter of
fact the more people who convert to Islam the better

I take any converts seriously. Also from what I see, the converts are a lot more religious than born Muslims including me. Alhamdullilah you found the truth.:)
Idk why people do that because your white. Maybe its because most converts are black. As far as I know, but regardless people should take you seriously.
:/ I hate it when Muslims do that. It’s disgusting. Seriously bro, it even happens WITHIN the Arab/Subcontinent community. They only talk to Muslims from their own countries/cultures.. and whatnot. It’s pathetic.
Allaah has put us into nations and tribes just so we could get to know each other and coexist peacefully.. not shun other Muslims because of their race. The state of our Ummah is ridiculous.
Islaam is perfect, but we Muslims aren’t. So please don’t take THEM seriously. These people only do this because they value culture more than they value their deen. They have their priorities messed up… but we’re all brothers and sisters in Islaam regardless of race or ethnicity. We should be happy to find more and more “white people” turn to Islam if anything… It sure does make me happy. I admire reverts! I really do.

I am a revert, I am white and I have no problem with anyone taking me seriously as a Muslim. Even if they did not it would not concern me, I am a Muslim for me because I want to submit to the will of Allah (swt) I do not need anyone elses approval or verification, I know who I am their opinion is irrelevant only Allah (swt) opinion counts.
When you will go to haj inshAllah,you will see that it does not matter,people from all races wearing the same peace of cloth and praying to God,Allah made us the same why should any one think less of white Muslim converts,I actually admire converts allot because it takes a lot of thinking and a big open heart to convert to Islam especially today when the media is out to get us.
