What Does Yahoo Do With The Information On A Deleted Yahoo Account?

What assurances do we have that you actually remove our information and discontinue use or sale of said info?
First off, you can’t even maintain your own information correctly.
This page: (http://info.yahoo.com/privacy/us/yahoo/peoplesearch/details.html) is no longer valid.
Other than being a dead page in general because the service is not functional anymore in the manner in which it describes, it points to dead links: The section titled “Practices Regarding Your Ability to Update or Delete Information”, first paragraph, the links titled “Edit/Create” and “Telephone Removal Form”.
This describes to me an ability to delete SOME information (the above referenced “Edit/Create” and “Telephone Removal Form” pages), but not other information completely related to the first set of info (the page I am currently complaining about).
Second off, you have chosen to partner with Intelius. This is like signing myself up for spam and marketing calls. Sure, the internet is a great research tool and a person’s personal information such as location and phone number can be found as easily as crossing the street, but I do not believe Yahoo should sell out its customers and patrons so easily as that.
Intelius should have the right to do their own business, Yahoo should not help them by giving its users info to them (even if the ‘choice’ to opt-out is available, albeit, hidden).
The facts that 1) Yahoo has this partnership and 2) Cannot remove its own defunct web pages in efficiency leaves me to wonder about my own data security.
* Additional info on Yahoo’s stupidity *
I tried posting this question in the help forum, but Yahoo failed, as usual, there. The system could not locate an appropriate forum for me to post in. I was recommended to email Yahoo Customer Care. After filling in the form completely, the bottom of the page asks me to verify my security questions.
I could easily have done this through account info, I’m sure, but the page suggested that I go through the login as if I had lost my password. Of course, since I was already logged in, this triggered a possible Fraud Alert. Yahoo locked my secret questions for 24 hours and would not allow me access to them so that I could finish the form.
And you wonder why I’m concerned about what would happen AFTER I delete my account when I no longer have access to the information myself. Or even why I’m deleting the account in the first place.

Can I Separate My Gmail Accounts?

I have three GMail accounts, one for a non-profit I support, one for an affiliate business of mine, and one for myself.
For the last several months, I’ve been able to keep three separate tabs open in my browser, and look at my mail in all three accounts at will.
Suddenly, yesterday, they are all connected, so that when I open one, it closes the others.
More importantly, when I close one, it shows me the other two and asks if I want to open them.
I set up three different accounts–with different owner names, user names, passwords, email addresses, etc.–on purpose. I don’t WANT them to be connected in any way.
What can I do?

What Kind Of Fame Is Better For An Artist?

Choose one of the following scenarios. All examples use masculine gender since our languages don’t have a neuter gender, but I mean this regardless of the artist’s gender.
1. Artist becomes famous very early on his career, and somehow manages to score a big hit very quickly.
However, the artist never manages to outperform himself, and so that early hit becomes his one and only magnum opus.
20-30 years later, and he’s only remembered by the works he produced during his early years. Since he has since unable to produce anything memorable, he’s doomed to replay all those old acts or songs and live from his past success.
He dies in utter poverty, alone and barely remembered at all.
SUMMARY: Early One-Hit-Wonder, resting on his laurels most of his life.
2. Artist has it rough at the start. Started from the very bottom, and didn’t show much progress during the start of his career.
But he never gives up. He always tries to improve himself, always coming with better works of art.
And eventually, the fruits of his hard work start showing up. He’s not young anymore, but he’s starting to become quite successful.
He produces his magnum opus very late in life, when other artists have already retired. Since his talent is widely demanded, he has no choice but to keep touring and displaying his art, with barely any hope for retirement.
He dies an untimely death at a very old age (it’s not a contradiction in this case), and is deeply mourned by fans worldwide, entering halls of fame and widely considered one of the best of his art ever.
SUMMARY: poor start, hard earned success, becomes a Living Legend.
3. He’s an average artist. While he’s successful enough to live a good life, he’s not a hall of famer or a worldwide renowned star.
However, one day, for some reason or another, he becomes memetic. The internets get filled by parodies, comics and videos mocking his work.
Thus, amazing a huge, unwanted popularity, a periphery demographic.
He could capitalize in that popularity, but that would mean he would.
– lose his previous fandom
– never be taken seriously anymore
– live the rest of his life as a parody of himself
or he could just ignore the memes and remain respected among his niche fandom and obscure elsewhere, and eventually disappear and be forgotten.
SUMMARY: average artist turned Memetic Star
So, what do you choose? Why?
Bonus points for whoever comes with the best example.

Chicago Vs Nyc (manhattan And Queens)?

I aspire to be a surgeon. Im a senior in high school and i am going to attend my local community college for two years to get rid of some med school pre reqs and to become a certified surgical tech ( i understand that a surgical tech does not lead to being a surgeon i just need a way to pay my way through school and to live and this is a good way to be affiliated with healthcare prior to med school) they make about $40,000-$50,000 i will also recieve approximately $15,000 from an unnamed source. After i get certified i really want to transfer to a university in New york (NYU) and live there for two years while i get my bachelors. i currently live with my family in southern illinois and i really need a change of scenery so the city sounds great. I know that if i moved to new york i wont be able to afford a decent apartment (studio or 1 bdr) in manhattan but i might be able to in queens. what i really like about the city is the ease of transportation via subway, walking, and bus. thats why i dislike Chicago compared to nyc. In chicago there is less mass transit and more citizens driving. I dislike every aspect of chicago compared to nyc except for the cost of living and the closeness to my family.
In your opinion how does chicago compare to nyc in these categories?
Transportation
housing
housing cost
utilities
things to do
night life
schools (universities and medical schools)
The only reason i ask this is that my family feels nyc is too far away and that the cost of living is ridicoulous.
