hi my name is raj and i am going to join in btech computer science.my question is about engineering in india.last week my two friends joined in top colleges in india like
one in IITK AND NIT warangal.after getting joined in two prestigesious colleges they told me studying in iit and nit is the only way to settle life,best placements,good salary,perks,….and all other benefits .they said me my education degree in non elite college is waste and is of no use in today’s world and iit,nit tag rules india and they sayin i wont get better job and salary than them .but i am good at studies but failed to crack exams .i scored 91% in 12th class and now i got joined to college that is affiliated to AITCE new delhi ,Jawaharla nehru technological UNIVERSITY hyderabad campus,got nba,naac ‘A’ accerdation.i am getting confused about my future education so MY questionS are
1.. can i get same type of placement,salary,position after 4 long years .
2..I’LL PERFORM WELL BUT do MY overall good marks,percentage,no backlogs really matter..
3.. my family asked me to join in gre,toefl class and DO GRAUATION degree IN IVY LEAGUE colleges in US .so doing MS IN IVY LEAGUE or JOB IN INDIA

the answer is your first question..
Ok,see..IITs and NITs have the best placements in the country..So, being in an AICTE college may not guarantee that kind of a placement but you can be assured of the fact that you will definitely get a good job provided you do well in your engineering exams and have an overall good personality…your package may be a little less than your NIT and IIT counterparts.. but hey, you are not losing out on anything..Coz after gaining some experience, you can obviously change jobs and look for better options..Chill, being in an IIT or NIT is not everything,..Enjoy your engineering..
for your second question..
Marks are not the only criterion during placements or for higher studies.. But having said that, see..theres no harm in maintaining a good aggregate.. A good undergrad score will only help in making your resume beautiful..!! Yeah..try and stay away from backlogs coz its frustrating to study the same subject again when all your peers have moved ahead… And there are some companies which look for people who do not have any backlogs..
as far as your third question is concerned..
Its solely your deision as to whether you are interested in postgraduation or not.. However, i would like to add that its a privilege to be studying at an IVY league college..
dont be confused… be sure of what you do… and you will be able to do this…along withh this for a security sake you can keep trach of some top universities like LPU, Thapar, Pec etc..some of the universities are giving huge scholarships and are offering international exposure and have international faculty on campus…. for more info log on to the websites
