Christian identity is closely affiliated with religious orders such as that advocated by Pat and have nothing to do with atheists.
When hateful people such as Pat Robertson shows his ignorance by blaming the wrong people for atrocities he is implanting false ideas among his sheep and while I never saw Christianity as being ethical such people as Pat Robertson would be the bottom of the barrel.

This is the kind of thing we know to expect from Pat Robertson.
It is shameful behavior.
I think he suffers from the same affliction some people here have.. oh something bad happened. Let’s skip trying to understand it and just blame a group we hate for it, whether it’s true or not.

Well, He was wrong, only in making the broad statement that Atheists Hate God. It is impossible to Hate something in which you dont believe.
Jesus said in Matthew the 5th chapter. “Blessed are you when men do revile you and say all manner of evil against you, falsely, for my sake, rejoice and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven, for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.”
So keep accusing, and saying evil against him, for in so doing you are blessing him.

Certainly not surprised. It is the sort of thing I have come to expect of him.
I expected nothing less because the man is a loon. He has said “G-d does not hear the prayers of a Jew” and uses national tragedies to talk about how G-d wants everyone to be xtian etc. He says this stuff because he is a nutty fundamentalist xtian who seeks attention.
I really dislike that man and feel he has no real morals and values. Typical “tv” preacher. I bet this shooter considered himself a xtian and xtians will not repudiate what he said but say only “He was not a true xtian” (like they always do)
