Also please, can i find nice clothes at a thrift store? I will probably have to spend LESS than $70 this year for school clothes.
My style is nothing really, just plain ol’ shirt, jeans, and sneakers or boots but how can i grunge-ify my look a bit???

yes im pretty sure you can find a jacket just like that! the key is just to be patient. thrift stores are filled with treasures. you just have to be patient at looking they’re are some good quality clothing under all the nongood things!
You can find anything at a thrift store. You really have to look though, you can’t just scan around with your eyes. Yes you can find nice clothes at thrift stores. People donate nice clothes! Of course you’ll find some! Just wash it before wearing, just in case (although some DO wash the clothes before putting it in store). You can add a whole lot of clothing to your wardrobe if you shop at thrift stores. At Value Village I got a simple v-neck for 2 dollars! I think to grunge-ify your look, you’d have to look at the clothes yourself and see if it’s enough for your style. Look for jackets and pants and simple shirts. You can buy combat boots for shoes. Maybe look for some high waisted shorts and tuck in a simple shirt like in the picture above.
