D.I.T.C was no doubt a great group, however, they certainly weren’t good enough to be ranked amongst other groups such as Wu-Tang Clan. Their group album was a solid release, but no where near the calibre as 36 Chambers, do you think if they had released a group album as good as 36 Chambers they could have been regarded better than the Wu-Tang? The Wu are so popular due to the solo success of its members but the members of D.I.T.C. could certainly rival the solo efforts made by the Wu-Tang, Lifestylez, Word…Life, Stunts Blunts And Hip Hop, Runaway Slave and Funky Technician are some of the greatest hip hop albums ever made.
BQ:
Ghostface Killah vs Big L
Fat Joe vs U-God
O.C. vs Raekwon
A.G. vs Inspectah Deck
Lord Finesse vs RZA (As rappers, not producers)
Diamond D vs Masta Killa
Affiliates: Big Pun vs Redman
Sell. I don’t think they have the personalities like Wu does. But I love me some DITC!

This question has actually been asked before. Sell.
What made the Wu-Tang so great was their diversity; each member brought unique and dynamic personalities and flows while still maintaining a great chemistry. D.I.T.C. were all heavily based in New York styles and contents prevalent at the time, each with their individual differences, but nothing quite so radical as how the Wu-Tang were.

Buy. I think Wu solo albums are the reason why they’re ranked so high among hip hop fans. As a group, by aren’t of the charts tbh. And DITC had a good album themselves. I think it’s close but Wu Tang takes it as the better overall group.

That’s a hard question to answer. Showbiz, Buckwild, Lord Finesse, OC, Big L, and so on, all in the same group working together? Big L’s death probably demotivated them from making a second album. It’s not too late for a reunion, though. If they worked hard they could put out a classic album.
They don’t have enough group material to really compare with Wu-Tang, but you never know.

These are all really close.
They were way different. It would’ve if they got Big Pun involved instead of discontinuing the group.

Big Pun, though Redman is one of my favorites
