I used to wrestling back in sixth grade and loved it. Now I am a senior in high school sand want to wrestle again. I don’t have time to join the school team. I do mma and want to do wrestling meets to work on my take downs and to just wrestle again. Is there any upcoming tournaments or any next year in southern new Hampshire I can do without being affiliated with any team?
I seriously doubt it. Amateur Wrestling is not a High Revenue Sport. Football, Baseball, Basketball and Ice Hockey generate a lot more revenue than Amateur Wrestling ever will. If you’re not willing to join your High School Wrestling Team, then you had better be prepared to compete in Martial Arts Tournaments. Not competing on your High School Wrestling Team is not exactly the way to earn an Athletic Scholarship in Wrestling for College. Bad decision on your part if you ask me.
