You have several companies such as American Broadcasting Company (ABC), National Broadcasting Company (NBC), and Columbia Broadcasting System (CBS). These companies create programming that is then distributed to their affiliates, which are stations in local markets, such as WNBC-TV in New York. These are known as broadcast networks.
There are also other networks such as SyFy, TLC, Home Box Office (HBO), and History, that are distributed via a paid service such as cable or satellite dish. (HBO is a “premium channel,” meaning one pays extra to get programming free of advertising.)
These days, one gets television via cable or satellite dish, or certain telephone providers. These services are provided by local or regional companies to which one pays a monthly subscription. In addition, these companies also offer phone and Internet service as part of what is commonly called a “triple play” bundle.
if your mean is your tv……..it will not work in the usa .
1- buy a 117 to 230 volts transformer for power.
2- an ATSC set top box .
3- an NTSC DECODER should be installed on your tv .
in my opinion sell it there and buy a new one in the usa .
