Well, i can’t answer everything, but natural selection happened. The plants that were the toughest survived, and mutated and crossbred with other plants. they gradually became different species and occupied land as well as water. Also, animals ate some of the plants and they digest all but the seeds, which are um…deposited when the animal…relieves itself, which causes the plants to spread. Hope I helped! And homework questions that are this specific probably aren’t going to be answered, just saying.
