At least two students were shot at Lone Star College in Texas on Tuesday, a school official said.
Two armed students opened fire (at each other?) CBS affiliate KHOU Houston reports of witnesses saying that two men were arguing when one of them took out a gun and fired.
Both were armed and exercising their 2nd amendment rights. They were defending themselves from each other.
Two students were shot in the crossfire. Two INNOCENT students were shot in the crossfire!
Maybe the pro gun conservative answer is that those two innocent students should have been packing weapons to defend themselves from the two other shooters who were defending themselves from each other.
Maybe the pro gun conservative answer is to have all students just shoot each other in self defense. MORE GUNS! YEAH!

What part of “gun free zone” hasn’t been grasped by you yet?
Colleges are “gun-free zones”.
Texans are totally nuts.
Sadly, I think that is their answer. Think of how rich they’d be.

Dallas has more guns per capital than New York City, and also more gun deaths than New York City.
Because it happened at a gun free zone.
And it wasn’t a mass shooting.
It was two people who had beef against each other.
It’s news when it happens in Texas, but not news when people die everyday in Oakland.
Schools are ” Gun Free Zones ” so only the bad guys are packing . The other ” Good Guy ” students followed the rules and didn’t bring their guns.

If they had guns it was illegal in the first place.A gun is a tool,a rather dangerous one that takes responsibility.One that me and my friends defend out selves with and some time shave fun shooting targets.No matter what you do,there IS going to be guns,and there IS going to be some shootings.No matter if you outlaw them completely,regulate them,or have them bought and sold to who ever freely.But the answer to stopping crime is not taking guns away from law abiding citizens and taxing their guns.Whats the logic behind taking a mans gun away who just shoots targets on saturday while criminals will ignore the law and shoot people who no longer can defend them selves.The tax on some guns is for the most part a joke for no criminal will legally own a gun and pay taxes.People most definitely have back ground checks before buying and carrying guns.Mentally ill should not have guns.And people should have a safety course before owning and carrying guns.But taking guns away from law abiding citizens is not the answer.
This was something between two people. This sort of thing happens between gang bangers everyday and has so for years but you liberals just ignore that. Also, the campus being a gun free zone obviously did not stop these people from bringing guns on campus.
Bad guys don’t follow the gun laws that’s the problem. Guns are illegal in Mexico yet 10s of thousands of people have been killed with guns in recent years by the cartels. Chicago has strict gun laws yet they have an extremely high gun violence rate. Everyone is in favor of people not getting shot but gun control has clearly not worked, I dont have any guns,however I dont want the criminals to know that before they break into my house
Had these two arguing hotheads not been armed, their battle would have probably been brought to a point of old-fashioned fisticuffs—an occurrence that would have resulted only in the two arguers being hurt and that then could have been broken up by, say, the police or a paid security guard.
The far-rightwing militia-minded extremists that worship the 2nd Amendment above all else seem to ignore the words “well-regulated” and apparently have no value for the rights of others to have LIFE, LIBERTY, and the PURSUIT OF HAPPINESS that cannot be granted if they are killed by the extremist gun nuts needing to supplement inadequate-sized penises or substandard sexual prowess with guns who have no problem-solving skills other than violence.
We need to ban guns because less guns means less crime.
