I’m Not Accepted In Circle Of Friendship?

There’s a group of Canadian cosplayers who are close friends to each other and active on various social networks. I have a lot in common with them, and I really like them. I’ve tried to contact each one of them individually without receiving any reply. They won’t let me into their circle of friendship. I’m not the only one either, they are ignoring other people too who have waited weeks for a reply. I’m beginning to feel a bit frustrated and hopeless. I don’t understand why they won’t say a word to me.
Is this how Canadians usually behave towards strangers? Can you please give me your opinion on this?
I’m not following a specific person, I have friends of my own, and have no trouble communicating with other people around the world. I’m a nice guy and people really like me.

Most Canadians I’ve met are usually friendly…to women.
If you were a female cosplayer that wanted in, I bet you they would waste no time allowing you to join.
How long have you been waiting for a response? If you messaged them too much they might be purposely ignoring you as they might not want someone that seems desperate to join their niche group. I would try to write a long private message to someone who may be leading the group telling them how much you’re committed to joining them and if they don’t reply or choose to decline you, then move on to another group. I’m sure there are a lot of other cosplay groups out there that share your interests that may even be more convenient to you.

Their either snobs or they got something shoved up their butts. Seriously why not make your own group, and contact the other people who got rejected from them. Make it special, fun and also let others join. Maybe your group may turn out to be something big, if you just gave it a go. Anyways don’t let this get you down, turn your dispair into happiness. Let your feelings show through your hard work. You never know what might happen, its worth a try

They’re probably the group of people that is exclusive and doesn’t accept people that are just slightly different or exactly like them.
    Just don’t talk to them.
