You take the job, but then you realize several months have passed and you have actually made no progress. You’ve become content.
How do you approach a situation like this?
1. You recognize what you’ve done – which you have – good work.
2. You can work at this job BUT you must keep searching for a better paying job.
3. Education is the answer to getting better pay, if you haven’t already done that, look into it. It does not have to be college to be educated. Trades pay well as do some office/medical office jobs for both sexes.
4. Never give up and never be afraid of letting go of the job you have so that you can move forward.
5. Think about your future – do you want to be earning minimum wage when you’re 55 years old? Will you ever be able to retire if you earn minimum wage all of your life? No – move along!
Good luck!
