So I’m a freshman in college about 2/3rds of the way done with the year, and I’ve been affiliated with a fraternity for most of the time. I decided to move into the house after the first term, and since then I’ve been having issues with the way things are run or the way the “greek” system works. We just recently elected a new president and new “executive” members, and they don’t run things fairly. Basically, someone has been secretly talking **** behind my back and presenting false information to them, making me look bad. However all of the accusations presented have no support or evidence to back them up. Last week it happened again and the executive members decided to KICK ME OUT of the fraternity- meaning I’ll have no place to live in about 5 weeks. I’m 2000 miles away from my hometown and I don’t have any living options at the time being. I havent told my parents yet..but I’m contemplating moving home early for the summer..just to get my head on straight. It sucks because Ive made alot of friends with the frat..but the **** thats been going on to me is unfair and stupid. What should i do? I’m a guy with a lot of personal pride and dignity, so i’m definitely not the conformist type
