In college your classes do not have to scheduled one right after the other. Your free time can be spent however and wherever you want to spend your free time, usually. There may be restrictions for some types off colleges, usually religiously affiliated schools, about whether you can and when you can leave or live off campus. Usually some of the friends you make in college will be life-long friends, either socially or professionally, or both. Many people meet their future life partner while they are at college. My soul sister and I are not related by blood, but we’ve been friends since August, 1971 because we were in the same English honors class. She saved my life 3 years ago. We’ve been friends for longer than she’s known her husband, long before she went to medical school, where she met her husband.
College is worse in that YOU are responsible for how you schedule and spend your time and how you manage money, even if it’s your parents’ money. You better be able to explain “What were you doing in Bossier City?” when your father looks at a gas credit credit card bill. I got gas in Bossier City and asked for directions on how to get back to LA HWY 1, since the exit sign on I-20 was so faded out that I missed the exit. You are responsible for your own safety and feeding yourself, not your parents, even if they are still providing chauffeur service because you don’t have a driver’s license, yet.

There are too many difference to list is this small box of text. Every college is different as well, community college, major University, dorm life, dorms in cities, etc.
Please learn how to spell college if you ever plan on finishing high school. Or at least learn how to use a spell check dude. really.

If you know how to be independent, college is awesome and much better than high school. If you need someone to always do stuff for you, it’s not.

College is very different. No one’s gonna hold your hand or ask you how that assignment’s coming. You’re on your own.
