hey everyone, lately ive been really into astrology. not saying i know alot because i dont but ive learned a little, but im not sure of my ascendant. the time i was born was right at the cusp, 6:56 to be exact so i always thought i was an ascendant in cancer. my mom just told me not so long ago that i was born not breathing and blue because i was choked by the umbilical cord. ive read that people determine the ascendant by the first breath and that some say its by the cutting of the cord, so i became curious. i never saw myself as a cancer rising, even though i do enjoy my privacy i am extremely talkative, but when i want to be. ive looked at both interpretations and im alot like leo, i can be egocentric about myself im very into my appearance not that i want to look lavish or that i have money but when i find a niche or something i want my clothes or everything to match that niche, which may be something else im not sure. i feel like i match leo exact at many points, temper tantrums and jumping to conclusions, i never had anyone that hated me, i never had conflicts with people for the most part, i always am laughing i find everything funny. sometimes when im being serious people dont take me seriously. i also love being noticed and being looked at or watched, but not necessarily in the spotlight. if anyone could help, or just find other aspects that may contradict me having leo rising would be great. also, i was born in marion, marion, ohio july 14 1993 ”6:56”.

Problem here your Ascendant will have progressed into Leo from cancer if you were Cancer Asc inanyevent

Solar arcs are really simple, especially for beginners, just move the Angles, Asc, Desc, MC, IC 1′ for each year of your life onto planets and vice versa. Not just used for rectification either. Under age 12 though these interpretations are directed towards family changes, maybe relocation, job changes, illnesses, additions to family etc…..

there is a member on astrologyweekly forum called Kannon McAfee that specialises professionally in rectifying charts but sometimes does freebies on there.
You’re probably a cusp. You’ve described yourself pretty well here though, you do sound a bit more like a Leo Rising to me.
