The Brattle Center (TBC) is a struggling mental health clinic based in Harvard Square. Its founder, Dr. Joan Wheelis, is a nationally recognized practicing psychiatrist who has developed outpatient treatment programs based on Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for patients with borderline personality disorder (BPD).
DBT requires teams of people with different types of expertise and so the original operating model developed by Dr. Wheelis was one in which TBC was staffed by a large number of part-time clinicians, known as the “affiliate model.” Changes in the health care environment, particularly the advent of managed care, have put very real pressures on this model and the company is now in a state of crisis.
Dr. Wheelis is trying to decide whether and how to keep it going. The key decision is whether to shift to a “staffing model” based on a larger number of full-time clinicians. This will require a larger patient population to make the economics of greater fixed capacity viable.
TBC is trying to decide whether to join the Blue Cross Blue Shield network, which would increase its patient population but at rates much lower than it currently charges by only taking private patients. Dr. Wheelis is also pondering whether to start a non-profit foundation as a way of getting money to support its teaching and training programs, or even making the company a non-profit itself.

Is there a niche way to smuggle alcohol into gigs? They search bags and whatnot so I was wondering of other ways?

Hi,
I am a a teenager looking to trade stocks as a hobby. I decided to go with day trading as my choice of investments because I dont have the patience for a long term investment and my plan is to only do a couple of trades a day. Come out with a small profit. And have a clean slate the next day. Or maybe something a bit longer over the summer.
But I would like to know how to start. Just assume I dont know anything. Can someone recommend me a couple of books that i can read to
A. Learn about the stock market, how it works, and know about the processes inside and out
B. Learn how to analyze stocks and have a strategy for day trading
C. Some good sites that can offer some good stock options to start analyzing
List as many books as you want. Preferably stick to about 2 books, and ( I doubt it) if possible 1 book
Thanks!
Just a reminder- I want to stick to day trading.

I’ve attempted using Squidoo in the past but get so ticked off because it keeps telling me that my content needs to be original. The only copied content that I used on the lens were of brief descriptions of products I was reviewing or places I wanted to visit… I kept getting so many errors it was driving me nuts, I got five lens to publish but they were soon taken down…
What I find utterly funny is I use maybe one or two affiliate links sometimes none at all and have such a hard time getting my lens published, other people seem to get away with murder on this site… they load it down with bits of articles changing just a few words here and there and adding videos from YouTube and other video sites, tossing up a few pictures form an image search and filling it up with tons of affiliate links… what gives?

Seriously considering getting a shop in a new shopping centre that’s opening in my area. My business is fashion accessories – handbags, jewellery, scarves etc – & the centre is for niche, small businesses so no immediate competition from the big brands. Couple of clothing shops opening in the centre too so they should also attract customers.
The shopping centre is predicted to be very popular but how many sales do you think I could take per day?
