hello im 18 years old and im having trouble finding myself and where i belong in this world. im don’t want to bore you guys w/ a long tedious paragraph, so i shall keep this short and simple.
from since i could remember ive always questioned my faith and religion. now that i am much older i have come to realization that i’m a believer, but i do not wish to affiliate myself w/ an organization. much so because of the hypocrisy . i have one problem tho…i am no way near spiritual as i would like to be.
i must admit that i occasionally have negative thoughts more than i should and these thoughts come from my mild anxiety. how am i suppose to become a better person and finding myself if im always negative towards myself. i want to change the way i think cleanse my mind with positivity .
everytime i would try to pray or something my negative thoughts would kick in saying “youre not really praying” “you dont know know what you are talking bout”…blah blah blah. & then i would start to feel like i was being pretentious about trying to be spiritual.
how do you stay positive?

I am trying to enter a contest, and I am reading the official rules for it to enter. I am 17 years old.
Here’s the piece of text: Event is open to legal residents of the 50 United States and the District of Columbia who are 18 years of age or older as of the date of entry, except employees of Sponsor and its affiliates and the immediate family members and/or those living in the same household of each such employee.
Is it saying those under 18 can’t enter? Is it saying that if you live with someone who’s over 18, yet you aren’t, it’s still okay to enter?
I am really confused. I’d hate to enter in my submission, and then get in trouble since I am not 18. :/

I’m 18 years old. i have been “seeing” a guy for about 1 month now. He is also 18 (about to be 19 soon). My friends have told me that he is a bad influence and disrespectful. They have told me his is gang affiliated. At age 18 he already has three mugshots and has been expelled twice from school (only lasted 2 months at his last one). I want to like him but for obvious reasons in apprehensive. I think he is funny and a great guy but his past scares me.
What do you think?

Alright here are the details please respect my question. My mother haven’t had her menstruation for 4 months already. She’s only 40 years old and it is impossible for her to be menopause because she had her first menstruation very late, around 18 years old or 17, that’s what she said so we both know that it is impossible for her be menopause at only 40. She can’t be pregnant as my father is in overseas. And please don’t tell me that my mom is pregnant because it is impossible i’m always with her and we never kept secret from each other. She’s only going outside to buy food in the market and mostly at home so it is impossible (So please don’t insist that my mother is pregnant). I’m really concern and nervous about this. She’s very healthy, she eats all kinds of healthy foods. As in all. So don’t tell that it’s because of her health. Please don’t tell me also to go and have her check up because we will really do that next month when my daddy arrives. I just want to have advance details and information regarding to what’s happening with my mom. Doctors and students out there who know something about this.
