Affiliate Marketing Secrets

I had been online marketing many affiliate programs, using articles and classified ads too. I just would like to seek a solution for answer. Can you help ?

How do I find out which affiliate programs will work in my state?
I was thinking about starting about a blog, but I found a long list of affiliates that won’t deal with people in my state due to tax laws. Amazon and adsense are on it.
Where can I find a list of affiliates who will deal With me? All I find by googling are affiliates that won’t.

If I were to get one of the affiliate programs which put their ads on my website and i get payed each time someone clicks on the ad. Then I just go on tons of different computers and just keep clicking the adds, and then get paid?

I need some good affiliate programs and/or advertising programs where I can advertise products, businesses etc on my site and get paid for it, any suggestions?
Also, not Google AdSense or Yahoo Ads.

I want some good business ideas for making money online with out relying on search engines and affiliates in the future!
I am thinking on a large scale and of course over many years and a lot of time and money spent to get this really big.
What i mean is:
Relying on search engines and affiliate programs at first to grow the business of course. But I don’t want to rely on any affiliate programs like AdSense for my income nor the search engines forever, i want to be able to forget about them and have a online business that stands on its own 2 feet.
Some might say search engines with PPC, they are good, but this is not what i want to start, the competition is at the top.
Having my own PPC ads is something worth having a look at, like Facebook, it is not a search engine, but they do have PPC ads and Facebook don’t need search engines for users or any affiliates for their income.
So any ideas? even if they take a long time to get established, I am not looking to make any quick money or any decent money for few years, I am in it for the long run.

I would like suggestions and comments on how to improve my website and what not. What are some techniques some of you people found successful and what features are most appealing on websites? I am thinking of including a chart room, does anyone know of where I could learn HTML coding for such an element? How do I spread the message of my website and it’s purpose to those seeking it? I was just approved for google ad words program, I have an ad on my site, how much money could I expect to earn in a year if I actively improve and update my website? What are your experiences and earnings in affiliate programs, adwords, and your own website?
