I installed an antivirus program on my phone, AVG to be exact because they have protected my computer well for years, but can mobile phones running Android, Windows, Apple really get infected from viruses?

Hello, I scanned my PC today. Antivirus found one suspicious file, that contains “Affiliate.Downloader”. I was wondering if it’s a virus that steals your credit card information, passwords etc. because I’ve done 2-3 online shoppings in last 1-2 months. I don’t know much things about this subject and I feel nervous.
