Evan Williams should be given an honour or knighthood for creating Blogger and starting a revolution. As smartphones and tablets become more ubiquitous, content curators are finding it easier to develop a niche blog and attract an audience. More important, people who are an authority on a particular niche can easily set up a blog for free. However, a blog would only become popular if the readers actually enjoy the posts. Are you one of them? Do you follow any/many blogs and why?

I aspire to be a stand up comic, i listen to alot of stand up comedy (i am listening to one of my favorite comedy channels on pandora right now) and i want to know what my chances are of making it and publishing a few albums. I can’t give you guys an example of course because most of comedy is in the delivery. However everyday i do about fifteen uninterupted minuites of standup on the bus every day (i am in high school so this is to an audience of my peirs i’m not just some jackass yelling humour at strangers on the grey hound) and almost all of it gets great responses and i am hoping to play an open mic night somewhere (sugestions would be great, my schools open mic nights are out of the question as my material is very inapropriate) but what do you think the chances are that i could grow up, move to new york, find my niche and be successful as a comedian.

I am 20 and an aspiring actress with no experience. I want to do acting because I am a shy person and want to get out of my shell more. I wanna get involved in a community or an activity where I can do something creative and share that with others. I am someone who likes to be creative, but haven’t really found my niche. I love writing and have written poems and stories since I was 5 years old. I have done acting once in my acting college class and really loved the experience! I did this in class play of Antigone and was a chorus member and even though i had a small role I still enjoyed the fact that I was apart of that experience. I wanna do something new and creative with my life. I love the idea of becoming different people in order to tell a story for the audience to enjoy, and one day i hope to be able to write a play too and hope the audience will enjoy it. However, I am currently a theatre major at my college and I don’t feel I am learning anything. To be honest I feel I am learning more about “What happens in acting” than What acting is all about and how to do it well. I want to a rigorous acting training where I can focus on acting and writing for two years or so. I want to be able to leave that acting school or conservatory with the proper techniques/ tools to become a professional actress.
So what do you guys think of this decision? I know I have to audition for these schools as they are competitive, but I am confident that I work real hard and practice and let my passion shine through I can get in somewhere. I haven’t put my idea into motion yet. It’s still a decision I am trying to work out.

They want me to do it for the money and get discovered so we can all live comfortably (I come from a poor background), but I’ve seen on TV what hollywood can do to people and don’t really like the idea of it. But I still wanna try acting, because I have never been really good at anything and wanna try to be good at something for once in myself. I wanna do something I love. In life we all have one life to live and I feel if I don’t do this now then I will regret it for the rest of my life. I remember the first play that made me fall in love with theatre. It was the broadway play “Aida” and I just remembered saying to myself when i was 13 years old. “Wow! I wanna do that too!”. I want people to enjoy my work and inspire others too. To me acting is an art I feel doesn’t get alot of respect for the people who put their time and effort into it. So what should I do? Should I still pursue acting even though my family has hidden agenda’s or am I wasting my time? It’s just I am afraid if acting leads me into bigger opportunities my family will ruin it for me. My family doesn’t even know that I am studying acting as a theatre major, and am trying to get involved in theatre. However, they keep bringing it up like they already know. If u get what i mean?

How important is public speaking in our future life?
It is no secret the importance that public speaking is gaining in our future life. There are many people cannot express their skills and performers because they fear to speak in the public. However, public speaking is an important process which all should achieve it in order to be a successful person.
There are many job markets depend basically on public speaking and select only people who have the ability to show their skills and performers in a public. For example, teaching competitions and translation institute. However, there are many unemployed people in Moroccan society; most of them employed because they did not express their skills in competition which I mentioned it before , because the latter depend completely on public speaking. So, know how to speak in public help us to get a job and also help us to do this job in a good way.
Public speaking also helps us in our daily life. Know how to speak in a public give many benefits to an individual. It is needed in many ways of life such as when we want to participate in elections, and also when we go to the court.
All work places and competitions give a big interest on public speaking process. Only people who can express their skills and experience in front of audience could be successful in their life.
