My idea for a niche is in the point of a teen writer. It covers all aspects of writing (types of writing, publishing, etc) as well as tips for writing well. It also covers book reviews and interviews of YA authors who were published as teens. My idea covers the aspects of being a teen and coping with writing and high school at the same time. The main niche over all is being a teen writer.
And, of course, other teen writers are my targeted audience.
Is it okay or is too general? Should I narrow it down?
Thanks in advance!

What do independent film companies (UKFC) do to target a niche audience?
and what do the big six (Paramount, Universal ect) do differently to target a mass audience?
Thankyou!

I used to create this webcomic called “Cheap ZEN Soup” a couple of years ago, but it never really took off – and then I got caught up in my freelance writing duties and I stopped having time for the daily webstrip experiment routine.
Looking back in perspective, sometimes I cannot help but wonder… should I keep working on this experiment? Would anybody possibly get into it? Would there be an audience… who knows? Is that even important (ok I’m going into rhetorics as we speak)?
Whatever, just check this out:http://cheapzensoup.com/2009/01/01/begin…
Let me know what you think. It’s kind of like a meta-webcomic with a twist. It you like stuff like Scott McCould’s meta-comics, or niche manga like Bakuman, G Senjou Heaven’s Door, and Even a Monkey can Draw Manga, maybe even old-school cartoonists like Harvey Pekar or Robert Crumb… maybe you’ll enjoy this as well.

I often see that the world of movie watchers hate it when beloved characters are taken out and new ones are added. Do you think in the next Narnia movies that the audience will become attached to characters like Jill Pole and Eustace Scrub just like they did with the four Penvensie children? I am afraid that people who have not read the full Narnia series will affiliate Narnia with the Pevensie children and not be able to accept the new characters. Thoughts?
