Before you read please keep in mind I just randomly started writing…there’s no basis. XD Also, if he seems weird, he was meant to be that way.
What do I need to improve on? I know for a fact there’s something. XD Thank you very much!

“I am but a humble servant to the King, his stepping stool and his conscience, for he remembers naught but the pinched shoes he slipped on that morning. Dearest fate, why do you hate me so? To have such an ill-minded father!” He released his eyes, sensing that he had lost his audience of a single man, and continues on. “I shall not waste my breath nevermore, especially on such fickle audience,” He grumbled, clapping his pocket watch as if to check the hour. “Sad is the day that such a proper tailor as I has yet to be paged by the King.”
He continued down the cobbled road, thirsty for excitement. “Oh dearest God above, may a lady trip her way under my elbow.” As he turned the corner with such a bounce to be seen as a madman, a brown bob of hair knocked into his elbow with a force like ten single men. “Well, I hadn’t meant literally but at least she had turned up.” The once ashy hair was now a face, large blue eyes and filled cheeks. “You will not address me as such, mister.” Now the one to fall was the lady-loving tramp. “How is this possible? You are not a lady, you are a gent. If only I could count how many times I have affiliated with a woman, yet to find broad shoulders and large muscles.”

Over the years, I have heard of several incredibly strange stories of people having had their organs cut out of their bodies while asleep, most likely sedated with some sort of an anaesthetic like ether or chloroform. It seems to be mostly a staple of fiction, but I was in fact wondering if there is a realistic basis for such stories. Are there any urban legends about this? (I’m sure that there are a couple) If such beliefs do in fact have a sound basis, what countries do these acts of visceral theft occur in? Is there a secret ring of organ pirates out there? In such acts, do the people behind them leave notes or any sort of a ransom for the subject after the act? What would make an individual prey for such people? What are the organs that are usually harvested (kidney’s, lungs, hearts, pancreas), and if so, are individuals killed for these organs and simply disposed of or left to die? Is there anyone with any sort of an experience of such an act, or an attempt at such an act?

It is a cult founded on a number of dogmatic beliefs that have no basis in reality. These are people who believe that the inflection point of the Laffer Curve is somewhere in the low single digits, and that cutting taxes to insanely low levels will magically lead to revenue increases. These are people who believe that government itself is basically unnecessary but for a private property protection scheme, and that the unfettered market will provide all that society needs, and will dole out the appropriate price for all goods, wages and services with zero inflation through the magic of the market. These are people who believe it is impossible for humans to affect the climate, and that it is better for humans to attempt to magically adapt somehow to a much hotter world than to do anything to even curb the behaviors that might be making it hotter. These are people who believe that the proper way to punish corporate evildoers is to not punish them at all, because people will simply stop purchasing from corporations that poison their water and air and crash their economies–because the average consumer presumably has the secret market-given wisdom, and magic powers necessary to make financial choices to punish Koch Industries and Goldman Sachs if necessary.

I was born and raised Jewish, and my family goes to a Reform temple. We aren’t very religious but I’ve found myself becoming more involved in my temple as I’ve gotten older. I don’t plan on being extremely observant in college but I’d like to have the option of going to temple.
I’m a junior in high school so I’ve been looking at colleges. I’ve been discounting a lot of colleges, both public and private, on the basis of religious affiliations.
Obviously Judaism is a minority religion in the U.S., so I haven’t found many “Jewish” schools. Should I still look at schools affiliated with Christianity or am I doing the right thing? I’m not really sure how much of an impact a religion will have on the college and campus life.
Thank you!
