So my fiance and I were looking into starting an online business – probably some niche in electronics. But to the bottom line, I was wondering is it legal to post items on your own website and then have them shipped from somewhere else. Example: A customer visits my site and purchases an HDTV. I do not have an inventory – so when the customer makes the purchase can I order it from another company (Sam’s Club, Best Buy, etc..) and have it shipped to the customers address? My fiance says yes, but I don’t think it can be done that easily.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Preferably someone with experience. Thanks in advance.

I found a baby this morning in a parking lot at Best Buy. I was going to stand in line to buy a Run DMC cd for my secret santa at work. I found this baby and I thought it would be better than the cd. I wrapped it in some reindeer paper, but now I’m thinking it might cry over the weekend and I don’t want the cleaning people at work to get it and sell it on the black market.

I made a website and I joined the Best Buy Affiliate Program to sell best buy products on my website. I have to fill in information for the tax form W-9. There are business types to choose from on the form and I’m not sure what type an affiliate site would fit under. The types are Sole Proprietorship/Individual, Corporation, LLC/LCC, Non Profit/Government, and Other. Can anyone tell me what type an affiliate site would fall under?

This is basically regarding a job offer I received from Full Circle http://www.fciweb.net/ sounds like a scam to me, and I believe they are somehow affiliated with Smart Circle. I went to the first interview, no longer than 5 minutes, was called back for a second one, went out into “the field” and saw what I would be doing. I would be selling DirectTV for 100% commission for a good 10-12 hour day. It was somewhat enjoyable considering my interview only lasted an hour and a half, but since I’ve never done sales and I’m right out of college I was skeptical that they would hire me. I was taken back to the office after being told the entire day that they were only looking to fill 3 or 4 spots out of 200 or more applicants and that I should show a lot of enthusiasm towards the position because there were so many applicants and all that jazz. They made it sound like being selected for a second interview was a rather huge deal. I walked into the office, immediately the “manager” shook my hand and said welcome aboard. Sounds like **** to me. I “start” tomorrow, I begin a 10 hour day of walking around Best Buy and trying to get people to sign up for DirectTV, I’ll probably talk to 300 or more people and get less than 4 to actually sign, according to my “trainer”. I was told it was a 4 to 6 month process into management, however with only some college and a degree goal that’s completely irrelevant to Marketing and no experience in sales and they still hired me on the spot practically, I was clearly lied to at some point. Do you know anything about these companies, If this job is bull please share your opinions so I don’t waste my time.
I need advice on how to avoid these scams. I’m barley about to graduate and I’m already being faced with these scams all over the internet, what is real and what isn’t?
Full Circle (I can’t find much on this company at all, its located in Atlanta)
Smart Circle International (Parent company probably)

If you clicked on the Best Buy’s link and you saw that it was indeed the real deal by redirecting to you to the official Best Buy site, would you still object to buying something from Best Buy’s thru an affiliate link? Did you know that many affiliate sites are created to help people find what they want and many are honest and they are not out to scam your personal info. Many affiliate sites provide a good service to those who are looking for deals and offer comparison shopping. Would you say this is a fair statement. After all, did you know that Best Buys encourages and allows affiliates to promote their stores and products. If you had an affiliate site how would convey to your readers that your site is not a scam site and if you were trying to sell something would you also want people to buy from you?
