I am writing a letter (knowing this is a HUGE stretch) to the Ellen show asking to be on the 12-day giveaway show.
Here’s the deal. She is a syndicated program. I work for a CBS affiliate station (a news station that is a CBS affiliate), and we happen to carry the Ellen show in the afternoon.
Because I don’t work for her show, or any of the companies that gift to her show, etc. Do you think I would still be okay?
This is of course if hell freezes over, and I actually was granted a shot at being on. I just want to know that I’m not asking for something that is basically against the rules to begin with.
I checked the rules for 12-Days, and can’t find anything that stands out, but before I send my letter, I just thought I’d see what others think. Again, I know my chances are slim to none. But, there’s no point in sending the letter if I wouldn’t be able to attend at all b/c of qualifications.
Thanks!

For example, in my area there has been coverage on wildfires while 3 affiliates (CBS, NBC, FOX) are doing coverage on it the ABC affiliate is not doing coverage but had an anchorman say “stay with our Facebook and Twitter pages for any information about evacuations” can the ABC affiliate get sued for not doing the breaking news coverage if people who watch the network for their local news coverage.

I am an Indianapolis Colts fan but headed to Bengals territory this weekend for Christmas. The game is at the same time and the same channel (CBS). I have a Verizon Droid phone and would like to stream the Colts game versus the Raiders to my phone. I have the NFL Mobile app but I believe that only shows Thursday and Sunday night games live. Is there an app or service that lets CBS affiliated NFL games stream live on my mobile phone with Verizon?

I’m trying to watch the Colts at Denver but we have DirecTV and for some great reason our CBS affiliates antenna sucks. I live in Central Indiana and get every channel from Terre Haute except CBS which cares the Colts. I tried Justin TV last week it was hit or miss. Does anyone have a good website I can watch this game w/o having to sign-up or pay?
