Hi,
I will be traveling to the U.S from Canada. To do a 4 month internship with a reputable company. However, I will not be recieving school credit, or pay for my participation. Im confused as to what visa, if any I need to obtain.
Ive been told by some I dont need any since Im not affiliated with a school, nor will i need a green card because im not getting paid. And since its under 6 months I should be ok to fly over, do the internship and return without further documentation.
Can someone provide me with some clarification or knowledge on what i should do? or if you know the visa type… than that would be even more helpful .
Thank you.

I’m atheist. My three-year-old daughter goes to a secular private preschool. All of the school’s documents say that the school is not religiously affiliated, and I made sure that the teacher understood we were atheist before I sent her to that school.
Today, my daughter sat down and recited a Christian blessing over her lunch. I asked her where she learned it, and she told me in no uncertain terms that her teacher has them “say the blessing” before eating. I asked her several times for clarification: is she the only one praying? Does she tell you to pray, too? Does this happen every day? And she made it very clear that this is a daily thing.
I’m absolutely livid. I paid $3,000 for a semester’s tuition at this school (that’s a third of my income) with the understanding that this stuff wouldn’t be happening there! Other than talking to the supervisors, would it be reasonable to request a refund, since the teacher misrepresented the school’s curriculum? If I’m not getting what I paid for, I want my money back!
Add to this that my daughter hasn’t learned ANYTHING since she started in school a semester ago, when it’s supposed to be the best pre-K education in the county… and I’m MAD! >:U

Having it defined as ‘reasonable’ is so ambiguous. Different people are different people, and the body has different levels of physiological arousal.
What I, as a teenager with Asperger Syndrome, an anxiety stress disorder, consider a ‘reasonable’ response to the fear of a masked burglar in my apartment, is going to be different to a depressed person who’s given up caring would consider ‘reasonable’ in the same situation.
Also, different political affiliated people will have different opinions on ‘reason’, so is the UK’s self defence law too ambiguous and in need of clarification?

I fairly know affiliate marketing is a good source of income online,I want to make it a secondary source of income but know almost nothing about it. What do I need to be in the affiliate marketing business? What is the requirement? Do I need to start a website before I can go into the business of affiliate marketing? What is the income projections? How many success stories do people have. How much money does it take to start? I need a lot of briefings and clarification.

The majority of the Pashtun Population live in Pakistan. Most Pashtuns are ‘Pakistani’.
But what I have noticed with Afghans born abroad (Or from Afghanistan) is that they seem to be very affiliated with Persians & Hang Around With Them and are more involved in their communities than they are with Pakistani Pashtuns –
Whereas Pashtun Pakistani’s generally hang around more with other Pakistani’s or even Indians.
So I just found it confusing because they are both basically the same (Except for countries) – So why is there so much segregation between Afghan Pashtuns & Paki Pashtuns? Anyone who can fill me in on some clarification – I will be greatful.

I’m working on the beginnings of a few websites for some organizations I am affiliated with, and I had this thought: I know the traditional view is that screens project at 72/96ppi, but I know this is not the case as a computer screen goes by the actual pixels and not dpi/ppi (a 357px by 423px image will display that many pixels regardless of monitor resolution…it will just look “bigger” or “smaller” depending on the resolution). So my question is, as I’m designing my site(s), does it really matter what resolution I design at? 300 so I can see more detail? Any clarification will certainly help! Thanks in advance!
