It was a story about a man who arrived in a kingdom where everyone that work in the street, in the market and even in their houses were all male because all the women, young and old, were in the castle where a Queen and her daughter lives. The women went home only every Sunday to see their family.
The man will meet the King who lives in a quite big house outside the palace.
The set up of the kingdom puzzled the man so he tried to investigate. Then he found a woman that make him fall in love.
Still curious about what’s happening in the kingdom, he found out about the king’s secret mission to turn everything back to normal.
Okay, I don’t want to spoil the whole story. Let me know if you got something from the short information I wrote.
It’s a fictional love story involving the man, the woman whom the man fall in love and the (cursed) princess.

I’m atheist. My three-year-old daughter goes to a secular private preschool. All of the school’s documents say that the school is not religiously affiliated, and I made sure that the teacher understood we were atheist before I sent her to that school.
Today, my daughter sat down and recited a Christian blessing over her lunch. I asked her where she learned it, and she told me in no uncertain terms that her teacher has them “say the blessing” before eating. I asked her several times for clarification: is she the only one praying? Does she tell you to pray, too? Does this happen every day? And she made it very clear that this is a daily thing.
I’m absolutely livid. I paid $3,000 for a semester’s tuition at this school (that’s a third of my income) with the understanding that this stuff wouldn’t be happening there! Other than talking to the supervisors, would it be reasonable to request a refund, since the teacher misrepresented the school’s curriculum? If I’m not getting what I paid for, I want my money back!
Add to this that my daughter hasn’t learned ANYTHING since she started in school a semester ago, when it’s supposed to be the best pre-K education in the county… and I’m MAD! >:U

It is 2012. Wealthy seventeen year old teenage boy James Buckingham is returning by ship to America after vacationing in Europe with his father and mother. They have also brought along pretty, wealthy girl Jessica Simpson. James is the son of a huge businessman and stock market player, Joseph “Joe” Buckingham, who is of European aristocratic descent and American socialite lineage, and Katherine “Kate” de Grey, who herself is the daughter of an aristocratic mother and wealthy father. Jessica Simpson is the daughter of a potential business partner of Joseph’s. Joseph and Katherine want their son to marry Jessica because they are secretly suffering from financial difficulties.
James is very depressed. Not only are his parents putting huge pressure on him, he also has a deep secret he is hiding from the world around him, from the paparazzi and media and high society: he is actually gay. James couldn’t bear the narrow-mindedness of his world, and on the second night of the journey back to New York, he couldn’t hold it in any longer. He attempts to commit suicide by jumping off the stern of the ship.
“Don’t do it,” a voice says. James turns and sees a beautiful, yet working-class-dressed boy about his age. James threatens to jump, despite being slightly disoriented from the creature. He feels something brewing inside of him…eventually the working class boy introduces himself as Kevin O’Connor, aged 18. “Wow, Iike your style,” he says, pointing at James’ outfit of a matching Marc Jacobs couture wool coat, a dark blue and white colour block shirt and tan corduroy trousers with smart brown Bontoni dress shoes. James says “thanks, you too” admiring Kevin’s hoodie and jeans with Nike sneakers.
The two soon develop a strong bond. James decides to meet up with Kevin from third class and they talk, and eventually James brings Kevin to dinner with him, much to the dismay of his mother, father and Jessica. Jessica already has a part of her that suspects James of being not so straight.
After the dinner, Kevin brings James to a third class party with his friends, and they party hard all night until two in the morning when the two boys split up. They discover a mutual interest in Kpop, a small yet rising music genre and sing Sooweul Neul Malhebwa together.
The next day, however, James’ mum warns James not to talk to Kevin. James is then confronted by Jessica, who tells him that she loves him a lot, and hugs him. James decides to avoid Kevin, but eventually gives up when he sees a little boy being scolded by his mother for acting in a feminine manner. He approaches Kevin who is chilling at the bow of the ship, and Kevin takes James up and holds him on the railing. “Soowuneul malhebwa, Jamie?” he says playfully (Tell me your wish is korean) James gives a light giggle and says, “My Soowun?? My soowun is..” he looks deep into Kevin’s eyes, and they kiss for the first time.
Later, the two boys go into James’ room. Kevin is intruged at the luxury of James’ room, and over James’ luxurious, fashionable high fashion clothes. James playfully asks Kevin to do him a photoshoot – a nude photoshoot.
They then almost get discovered by James’ father’s valet, and playfully run away from him. The two enter a Lamborghini in the storage area and passionately make love. They almost get discovered and leave and they kiss. However, at that moment the ship is punctured by a rock and starts to sink. James is split from Kevin, and Jessica tries to force James into a lifeboat. James refuses and goes to Kevin. His parents leave without him and scream after him. Jessica follows the two lovers and tries to force James into another lifeboat with her. However, James jumps back out to reunite with Kevin, and the two eventually go into the water with the ship. Kevin tells James that he must live on and never let go, and James promises. Kevin is frozen to death.
Eventually James changes his identity to Jamie O’Connor and lives a free life battling for homosexual rights. In the 2020’s he comes a Kpop idol after Kpop’s global domination, and he also does a variety of other things such as flying in a rocket. Homosexuals are finally accepted. He dies at the age of 117 in 2112.

So, basically, I was given an assignment where I just write a ‘short story’- ( 50-85 pages) about any original plot I made up myself. I eventually came up with the idea Of a very stern, haughty police officer who is paired with the less-responsible daughter of the Police Chief against his will. When I handed in the mandatory plot sheet the teacher said it was fine, but I want to see if I should make the characters a bit more ‘realistic’. Below I have provided this template:
Name: Solomon Edward Janey ( Teasingly called ‘Sol’ by coworkers)
Age: 35
Personality: Very Proud, Straight-Forward way of thinking, Unsocial, Easily Annoyed, Hard-Working, and Insistent
Appearance: A ‘powder-like complexion’, dark gray eyes, and short, slightly graying dark brown hair.
History: The only child of a late Malpractice attorney and a nurse. He was raised in an average house in a solitary neighborhood, and spent more time with his mother than his father. Was known as a ‘braniac’ ( or rather, smart-alec) during school years, and graduated Magna *** Laude from Penn University. After spending two years in medical School, he decided to become a cop after witnessing a robbery in which the cops were obviously biased, and deciding that he would do a much better job. After becoming an official officer of PPD (Philadelphia Police Department) he soon established a very good place, living in a small townhouse making a modest salary. On his sixth year, he was paired with the slightly childish daughter of his boss against his will. He often finds himself arguing with her, but is forced to learn to cooperate when they are given the case of a murder of an heiress, and the attempted murder of her sister, who is now in their custody.
Name: Friday Bethany Allen
Age: 29
Personality: A bit of a slacker, slightly irresponsible, reluctant to take lead, quiet, childish, and thinks in ‘creative ways.’
Appearance: An olive complexion she inherited from her mother, brown eyes, and shoulder-length black hair.
History: Friday grew up with her single father and her younger brother. After having her mother leave at the age of 5, she became more introverted. Currently, it’s not as bad as it was, but it is very rare to find her chatting away. She dreams of becoming a detective after reading the complete Sherlock Holmes series, and was convinced by her father that becoming a Police Officer was the way to go. She was an average student, graduating with decent grades from her local community college. She just recently moved from her condo from the rest of her family to a small studio apartment in the city. When paired with Solomon on her first day she is turned off by his very cold attitude, but when given their first case, tries to get along with him.
Name: Alice Sophia Winston
Age: 21
Personality: Slightly-spoiled, sarcastic, logical, and very afraid.
Appearance: Milk-chocolate skin, wide brown eyes, and short black hair.
History: Alice grew up in a very large mansion, just outside of city-limits. Daughter of a business owner, and secret black-market seller, she grew up living a life of luxury. With full knowledge that as the youngest she would not receive the family fortune, she made sure to keep good relations with her sister. After the sudden death of her father, her sister’s own bloody murder during a fun night-on-the-town not even a month later, she is in fear of her own. Now in the care of the PPD, she finds herself under the custody of Friday and Solomon, two people whose constant arguing makes her feel as if she might just die anyway.
So when I passed it in, my teacher ( who was doing something on the computer) barley looked at it before handing It back without barley saying anything. To ensure I get the best grade possible, I would like some feedback on these three characters. Are they realistic? Are they developed enough? Please tell!
