Is It Possible To Be A Millionaire From Stock/option Market Trading With $20000 And With No College Education?

Hi! A new visitor to this section
I am 30 years old now and i have worked as a clerk and bookkeeper in a food company for 11 years. Although my salary is not high, i earned a lot from casino poker in the past few yrs and i opened a bar. With the stable salary and bar income i wish i can be really rich.
Then i realised i cant be really rich by the bar and the poker so i turn to stock market. Then I have half year online trading in virtual stock market. I did a lot of study in stock and options market mainly through online resources and newsapaper. I found this is not hard mainly as i have some accounting background. I did the ratio analysis like the newspapers do.
Now i really interested in options trading as i think it can earn me a lot with a small amount(as it did in the online virtual one). Now i decide to put $10000(real money) into trading.
Now my concern is: Although i seem to know how the stock/option market works(as i read some good investment books and i studied), are there any “secrets” of the market i have to learn in college, esp sth like math, equation in order to become really rich? I encounter a lot of equations i dont understand so can i really beat those guys in wall street??Will i get eliminated because i do not have the college education or having specific knowledge in my brain?
I am really concerned as $20000 is not a small amount. Thanks.

21st Century Grant Vs Nclb?

I work with non-profits as a vendor supplying tutors, and have observed that most grant money comes from either the 21st Century Grant or the No Child Left Behind Act. It seems that the 21st century is fairly flexible in it’s requirements for tutors, where as the NCLB has very tight regulations, requiring that tutors be affiliated with an SES (Supplemental Education Servicer).
How are these two sources of funds related, and what are the relevant differences and similarities?
Best,
M

Sellers Of Travel In Multiple States, Here Is A Question:?

So, we are trying to sell travel online.
As I understand, the state of Washington makes one have a license to be a ‘seller of travel’. The first part of the process registers one as a business, costing $20, then $202 for the licensure. You do not have to have continued education, etc.
For our business we wanted to sell travel to many individuals across many states as we are an online business.
I also unsderstand not all states require this.
Here are my questions:
It seems that these states are the ones that require a license to sell travel:
CALIFORNIA
FLORIDA
HAWAII
ILLINOIS
IOWA
LOUISIANA
MASSACHUSETTS
MICHIGAN
NEVADA
NEW YORK
PENNSYLVANIA
VIRGINIA
WASHINGTON (STATE)
Is there any website or affiliated governement branch that could confirm this without my having to go to each and every state .gov website to see?
Also, if we wanted to sell travel outside our state to another state, would be have to have a business license in that state? or… would our registered business allow us to do business in other states.
We are just starting and so this is all very foreign to us.
Does anyone have any good resources for steps in beginning ones own travel sales business?
How would we begin to sell airfare, etc? Software? How do travel sales businesses go about this?
Thanks

Would You Go To Work In Venture Capital Or Go To School More?

I know for some of you this might be a silly question, but my parents have different thought processes then me. I have an interview with a venture capital firm on Wall Street coming up and am excited about it. My parents on the other hand think I should go on to future education which I have been offered a full tuition waiver through my professor. Granite this school is not where I really want to go anyways. My professor has a lot of friends at more prestigious schools though and said to me, do you want to go to this school; I can talk to my friends there for you. One is an IVY school and the other is a close to IVY school. The thing is, this degree is not an MBA, but would give me more knowledge on the venture capital industry I am interested in. If I went to one of these schools I could potentially get into one of the IVY business schools. Or I could say these educational opportunities are of no interest to me, and I can try and make my bones at this job if I so happen to am lucky enough to get accepted after the interview. The interview will go well if they ask mostly questions about my scientific background and work experience related to their investment niches.

Do We Need The Opportunistic Councils To Govern The Deterministic Science?

The recent decision made by various academic policy makers and administrators make us to think that those sitting in the various academic councils are cheaters. It is generally believed that the politicians and the businessmen are opportunists. But, the decisions and actions of the Indian academies reveal the hardcore fact that academicians are the worst cheats.
Science is purely deterministic while commerce is purely opportunistic. Indian Universities are meant loot the public and earn money. They are not meant to cultivate arts and science. In the recent past, various colleges in Tamilnadu started Bioinformatics course. But, all of them closed the department of bioinformatics. Every academic department is supposedly instituted to promote the art which concerned department specializes. The Tamilnadu universities completely failed to promote bioinformatics or one can say that no professor in Tamilnadu has the capability to promote bioinformatics. Another horror side of the story is that the tuition fee. It went upto 2 lakh just to get M. Sc., degree. Don’t the idiots sitting in the academic councils know the nature of bioinformatics course?
Another course is B. S. Biotechnology. Under the ‘Vice-chancellorship’ of Ponnavaiko the course was introduced in some of its affiliated colleges. Today (4.9.2010), the newspaper reports state that the Government of Tamilnadu has banned the BS biotechnology course. Those students who have joined the BS biotechnology can continue with the course, but the colleges should not admit students for BS biotechnology in the years to come. The academic council of Bharathidasan university completely failed to foresee the pros and cons of starting BS biotechnology course. And, the members of the academic council does not have sufficient intelligence to weigh the pros and cons of BS biotechnology. How the Bharathidasan university started without the knowledge of the higher education secretary of Government of Tamilnadu? Where the hell the education secretary went when Bharathidasan University was introducing the BS biotechnology course? Or the education secretary think that the professors are fools?
The open fact is that the modern academic policy makers are pure opportunists and cheats. Do we need the opportunistic councils to govern the deterministic science?
