I mean besides the fact about being religious. I’m talking about the feel, education, etc. Everytime I see a school is a Catholic or Christian school or etc. generally I’ve turned my head and sighed and kept on looking for a different one. I’m not really a religious person. I have nothing against it, my family is religious, I had my first communion but ever since I could think for myself I’ve considered myself a bit agnostic. I just want to know what it’s like at a religious school. Is the school experience there all that different from a school that’s not affiliated with any church? I’m trying to find a college for me to transfer to since I just graduated high school and am not looking forward to be preached to every day. Serious answers only please. Sorry if my question sounds ignorant, I just really need an answer because I have no idea what it’s like.

It’s going to be mostly an affiliate blog for jewelry, clothes, handbags, shoes, – things like that. I was originally going to name it ‘OhSoLovely’, but that’s taken. And ‘OhhSoLovely’ is reserved, too. But I’d like a name kind of like that or a name that has the same ‘feel’ to it.
Any ideas?

(Sorry this is going to be long!) I’m a sophomore in high school and I’m trying to get a feel for what college I want to go to. I’ve tried college search, but it’s hard to narrow anything down because some things are nice but not deal breakers and if I put under 50% for something and a college has 51, it rules it out-so it just doesn’t give me a broad idea of what colleges I should look at. So far I’ve considered UT, TCU, Baylor… I’d like to see if I could get into Rice, but it seems too close to home, city-centralized, and kinda boring, you know? A&M is also a great school, but I don’t like it as much as UT. Getting in to a college isn’t a factor of importance, as I’ve always been in all honors and never gotten a B, also being very involved with the school and student government, volunteer work, etc… I play soccer, but plan on stopping after this year. I want to go somewhere I’ll enjoy, I love a pretty campus-rural would be fine with me but I love the perks of the city… so I’m kinda all over the board here. The school needs to be prestige for the most part, I LOVE the TCU campus, but it isn’t that prestige and it’s outrageously expensive. Price shouldn’t be too high. It needs to be in-state, unless I get like a huge scholarship out-of-state. I love the Texas State area next to the river <3 but it's kind of known as a party school? No choice yet on a major, graphic design maybe? But I don't think I want to spend my life in front of a computer. Ummm… I'm Christian (Baptist/Methodist), but I don't mind going to a school not specifically affiliated with my religion, as I enjoy the diversity. Any advice whatsoever would be appreciated-even if it's just your experience from one individual school. THANKS SO MUCH to anyone who helps!!! (:
Oh and I'm looking at a 4-year college.
