Affiliate Marketing Secrets

A few weeks ago I noticed that there was a little IMDB notification icon on my Facebook next to my Friend Request icon, Messages icon and Notification icon. It’s always lit up (as if I have a notification) and when I click on it it’s just an advertisement for watching tv and movies online. Then I noticed that it was on Google as well! Right under the Search Bar there is an ad that says ‘Exclusive: Watch Free Movies & TV Shows using IMDb’. It’s also on YouTube.
It’s extremely annoying and I can’t find any way to get rid of it (Googling anything to do with ‘IMDB’ only yields results for different films).
Can someone tell me what it is, how it got onto all of my computer, how I get rid of it, and is it even affiliated with IMDB (because it doesn’t seem like them to infect people’s computers with this virus-like thing)?

I have been trying to get rid of this virus. Basically i use firefox. I scanned several times with Malware bytes, hitman pro and a few others. I blocked the websites it takes me to (with the exceptions for cookies in options) and it still takes me too websites like

I have firefox 13 (i think that is the one where it has the stuff in new tabs) and i have windows 7. I think thats all the info you would need. i just want this virus to die in a fire. thanks.

Firefox is and has been great! I have Norton 360. I allowed “PC Cleaner” into my machine under the guise that they are a Monzilla affiliated company. I believe I was in error. Please help.

Every time that I open up my Firefox Browser, eventually this online radio station starts playing music. Now, this online station isn’t affiliated with Firefox at all. It seems to be coming from Internet Explorer…even though I haven’t even opened up this browser…What can I do, if anything, to stop this from happening?

I have noticed there are little blue emotes that come up every time I try to make any sort of comment, status update, or even use the chatbox on Facebook. I assume they are affiliated with Mozilla Firefox, because they were not there when I was still using Google Chrome. How do I disable these emotes?

Ok i have firefox , when ever I go to google.com annd search for ANYTHING and then click on the results i get directed to a diff page entirely, sometimes is a porn page sometimes its a off the wall search site page. The prob is not my homepage or searchengine, becauese i get the results i search for. The prob is when I CLICK on the link. For Example, when i clicked on sixflags.com i got redireted to http://6931.38855.local-search-pages.com/jump2/?affiliate=mx1&subid=38855&terms=links%20direct%20different%20search%20engine DONT CLICK THIS LINK THIS IS JUST AN EXAMPLE!
